A waste of an otherwise perfect evening

Dont't waste your money or time to see the socalled borderline movie. Plot is old and at times even makes no sense whatsoever. The characters are predictable and the dialoge is corny. Way too much blood and incredible master arts impossible to create in the real world.

The Man with the Iron Fists

    by

My children loved the fight scenes. I did not care for the graphic lyrics in the soundtrack. I always love a move where the good guys win in the end. Brought back 70's karate movie themes and fight scenes. The BROTHER brought it with his iron fists ! We could have waited for it to come on Netflix.

    Sigh

Rza should stay behind the scenes. He's acting didn't even seem like an act. More like glorify me cause i made this movie, so i'm going to be in it straight face and all.

    Rza was emotionless.

He was the man character but i didn't get that.

I fell asleep at the beginning.

I give Rza a A+ for making this movie happen.

I just think the storyline wasn't strong enough.

Rza always look like he was pouting.

Rza was Nothing dramatical about any losts.

It was kind of like he was too cool to act in front of the camera or too gangsta to be acting.

Movie would've been a hell of a lot better with someone besides Rza acting.

So when you see Rza you just think about him as a music producer and rapper not as an actor.

The hip hop music was cool but it didn't fit the movie.

    They were in Asia somewhere.

    Movie should've aired on MTV.

He would've had better success with it.

I bought tickets to support Rza and his attempt to do something big.

The Man With the Iron Fists

Me and my wife went to see this action filled move with a great since of humor. The story line was excellent, it made me feel like channel 5 back in the days. If you love martial arts movies, this is a must see.

Great Action Packed Movie ... !

The movie was great, RZA & Lucy Lu were awesome! However, it would have been nice if Lucy Lu's "real character" was revealed a lil' earlier in the movie. Yet I still enjoyed the movie. A must see !

    bong bong

    by

RZA makes his directorial debut with this violent over-the-top chopsocky homage and proves his beat-downs are just as mind-blowing as his beats. If this has already come and gone to your local multiplex, and you can't hold out for the rental, break out Mortal Kombat and re-Enter the 36 Chambers.

Stays true to the oldskool kung fu flick

    by

The RZA did the best he could I beleive his first time around with this Kung Fu flick. The storyline was good it carried well and the action sequences were plentiful even though some were a little cheesy. The special FX were good. The music was a little off but it was a more mordern flick and the music was inspired by the RZA so it was what it was. Overall it is a good flick.

The Man With the Iron Fists

I really liked this movie considering there was so much blood....Grandma's are really not into bloody action movies...but, I liked how all the characters were very interesting and well played. I was truely amazed at this movie. I would go see it again.

    Worked With RZA & Wu-Tang

Wait for cable and only if you've seen everything else on TV...Way to much talking not enough action for a martial arts movie and teh blood looked to fake to believable.

I really thought this was going to be a great Kung Fu flick, but........

Going into this movie I had high expectation, so I probably set myself up for a big let down. The story has a simple enough premise, but when you watch it unfold you find yourself wondering what the hell is going on. Even though the action is there it doesn't come across as exciting, as most scenes leave you bored and looking at your watch. The one saving grace of this movie is Russell Crowe, who gives a great performance and his presence onscreen makes every other cast member look like amateurs. The ending has it's fair share of action but again lacks substance and seems to end right after the big fight scene. I'm sure teenagers and early 20-something year olds will enjoy this one more than anyone over the age of 30. RZA gives it his all but should stick with what he still excels at, which is present in the end as the credits roll and his new track plays.

    Amateurish, Tarantino-Wannabe

Ugh. Ok, the opening credits were pretty cool and the accompanying tune by RZA was AWESOME, took me back to my days listening to Wu-Tang. But everything after that was downhill... I respect RZA and Eli Roth independently of this mishmash of crap, but I ended up walking out of this movie after the first hour. I couldn't bear to watch anymore. The direction was weak and obvious, the production quality was pretty low to awful. The acting was ok, but not great. The action sequences were more McG: Charlie's Angels than Crouching Tiger, not cool and not well choreographed. If you're in your early teens and haven't seen a lot of decent action / pulp fiction cinema then go right ahead. If you have managed to get through puberty then you might want to save yourself the torture of watching this should've-been-straight-to-DVD pile of crap. Lame!!

    bad to worse

    by QDP

cheap imitation of the already really bad 1970's kungfu moovs genre, just worse.
No redeeming qualities, perfectly bad throughout.
Bad direction, acting, script, editing, continuity, REASONING, you name it, - and it can't get worse. Why they make this kind of stuff is befuddling. Some may think its funny, but creatively they just don't realize who the real dweebs are.
Supremacy of this flick is its stupidity- simply said: awful ! You'll miss nothing by not seeing it.
