Went with 2 children, both 18, and one other adult. We all enjoyed the movie. It had the little kids laughing and a storyline we could all follow.

FANTASTIC!

This movie was terrific! They got everything right! The animation was beautiful, the characters were well developed, and the plot was good, if predictable. I would definitely recommend it to anyone, adult or otherwise, and I won't be surprised at all if it picks up a few Academy Award nominations.

Not Coraline, But Not Terrible.

This is in no way going to do as well as Coraline, that much I can tell already. I actually really wanted to see this because I'm a bit of a zombie dork. The first half is slow, long, and a bit unnecessary. The part when you get to the true identity of the witch and you find out why Norman has to be "The One", that is when the movie gets really good. There is an important lesson in the movie which is why I liked it. I will say, there may be a few things in the movie that will scare young kids, despite the PG rating. Overall, So-So BUT WORTH SEEING.

A GREAT FILM!

PARANORMAN Was really wonderful. Very Funny, visually arresting and really gets under your skin. A strong second feature for this company after the game changing CORALINE. Many may feel this film is for older kids and they could be right given some of the humor and the decidedly dark world view, but the young kids in the theatre during my showing seemed to have a ball and be appropriately awestruck. IT feels as if it could've been created by the great Roald Dahl. DON'T MISS THIS FILM IN 3-D ON A BIG SCREEN! It is the best 3-d animation since UP and CORALINE! Superb!

Way better than expected for kids movie

Its not a masterpiece but its really a pretty good film with some interesting message content. I definitely didn't feel ripped off on this one. If your kid wants to go I think you'll be pleased.

Good movie, but may not be for younger children

I took my 8 year old to see it and he absolutely loved it. I thought it was cute and lots of funny parts. I just think it may not be for younger children or children who may get frightened easy.

Good Story about the consequences of mis-judging people and bullying. Well done! Most of the potentially scary parts were done well and offset with humor so that the younger ones were not frightened.

Be advice do not take kids that are too young comprehend sexual preferences, that comment at the end of the movie about the jock telling the girl about his boyfriend was not funny at all and unnecessary....it had no bearing on the story.... Definitely not small kid friendly movie, as a parent I have the right to explain to my 5 year old when and how about sexual preference and not talk on the car all the way home about something that can't be explained to a 5 year old....

Enough a innuendoes for the Adults

My 5 and 7 year old grandsons loved the movie; I laughed out loud on more than one occasion. Worth the price of the movie tickets, especially the surprise ending which sails over children's heads.

Pretty profound for an animated movie

ParaNorman was a nice surprise. It tackles some weighty subjects with some good advice in the format of a fun and entertaining feature that appeals to kids. I give it high marks for the whole family.

Not for kids

Most movies of this type have some adult humor that goes over kids' heads but his one is straight for the teenage/adult crowd. Inappropriate language, innuendo and situations that, frankly, left me with my mouth open. Trust me, I'm no prude and I love a good raunchy film as much as the next person but not with my 5 & 6 year old children in attendance. Keep the little ones away from this one! It should have been PG13. I was kind of pissed afterwards...

Its Good !

An entertaining movie to see with your kids ages 5-12 years old age.
Has some scary parts with witch and zombie characters but not too intense.
All things considered worth the time to see.

Just ok movie...

Definitely not worth going to see on the big screen. And it really should be listed as PG-13. Overall, it was cute and my 7 yr old son enjoyed it very much.

Funny for Kids and Adults

They did a great job on creating a kids zombie movie with a new twist. There were a couple places that scared our 4 year old but overall the kids liked the movie. The mix of humor for the kids and subtle adult humor made it a great show for all of us. Can't wait for this one to come out to add to our home movie collection.

AWESOME!!

This movie is so awesome! I want to see it again! It made me laugh and even jump a bit! I took my nieces and nephews ranging from 3 to 12 years old, and they loved it! I so recommend it!
