Awesome & Smart
by
This movie was amazing. The story is Front & Center, not visual effects or the actors etc. This vision of the future is dirty/making it realistic, based on todays real economic expectations of the future. The explanations of what's going on happen really quickly within 20-30 seconds, not being long winded and getting it out of the way. Reminds me of Gattica and the Fifth Element, some great futuristic movies from the 90's. The story truly dictated the movie, not actors on screen time - you dont see Emily Blunt till the 3rd act. Bruce and Joseph were awesome; JGL did a great job being bruce willis - the eyes, smirks, head tilts. All the characters were rich and well rounded.
*Spoiler* Oh and the death scene of the character Seth/Older Seth played by Paul Dano / Frank Brennan was so clever and original, gory yet not gory.
I saw this as an afternoon matinée for $8, but i would gladly pay more to see it again if it were the case.
A Perfect Film
