    A refreshing story, beautifully shot

If you are looking for another Juno movie, beware this is not one of them. However, this movie is amongst the genius and shot beautifully.

Kudos to Emma Watson for playing a great role and showing her diversity outside of the wizarding world! Ezra Miller played his part so well and within his situation in the story hit home for me and many gays amongst the states.

Best book to movie adaptation ever.

I read this book in high school and it completely changed my life. When I heard it was being made into a movie, I could not contain myself. This movie was everything I wanted it to be and more. It made me cry, it made me happy, it made me evaluate my life and everything I have ever been through. It is a perfect movie for all ages. I loved it so much.

    Great Adaptation

    by izzepie

This movie was exactly what I wanted it to be from the book. All of the essential points from the book were very well incorporated. I absolutely loved this movie. Definitely a must see, but I would advise reading the book before hand.

This movie reminded me how painful high school was!

    by pedsarq

We were all awkward freshmen and cool seniors once upon a time. This movie nails the high school experience and will bring back some wonderfully painful memories. There's plenty of music, partying, first-time sex, and abuse in this movie. Go see it because you'll get to relive some of those experience while watching a terrifically crafted film.

    Worth Watching

Excellent score, well acted, fairly true to the book- thoroughly enjoyable- though the parts that were left out (IMO) would have spoken to Charlie's relationships with his siblings.
As a child of the 80's it was such a treat to hear the Smiths in a sountrack again!

    First-rate movie!

I don't often find movies that I would consider watching a second time, but this one qualifies.
I really liked the development of the characters throughout the movie, and the themes dealing with starting high school, high school relationships, and messed up parents/relatives are easily relatable to real life.
I took my 12 year old to see it, but he is a pretty sophisticated and mature movie-goer, and I wouldn't recommend this movie for anyone under the age of 16 due to the mature themes and drug use in the movie.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE GO SEE THIS

Logan Lerman needs an Oscar for this. The movie needs tons of Oscars for this. Perks of Being a Wallflower is by far the best book to movie adaptation I have ever seen. The acting is amazing. The storyline is as fantastic as it was in the book. I absolutely love it. It's one of my favorite movies now. It deserves every penny and every award it will earn in the future. Will not disappoint fans of the book at all!

    Teenagers should see this!

Fantastic movie about teenagers during the school year. It shows how difficult it can be to be different and to try to make friends. The main character has a heartbreaking story and he finds help from his new friends.
The soundtrack is great and Paul Rudd has an uncredited role as a teacher we all wish we had.
Good for all ages over 10 or so.

    Incredibly Beautiful Movie

One of the best movies I've seen in a long time and one to which everyone, no matter your age, will relate. Funny, sad, tragic and uplifting all in one movie. The book was excellent, yet the movie somehow makes this classic story more rounded out and real. The direction, the cinematography and the music set all the appropriate moods. The best thing though is the acting. Ezra Miller was great, Logan Lerman was heartwrenching as Charlie, and Emma Watson should silence any doubters about whether she can act beyond Potter with a wonderful, emotive portrayal of Sam. Logan and Emma were great together. Supporting cast was good as well. A must see.

    The perks of perks

Well done, well acted and well written. It covered many serious topics with honesty, humor and allowed the viewer to feel sad, but not wallow. It's an excellent coming of age movie, reminding the parents in the crowd that everyone was a teenager once, and there are so many opportunities from which to learn.

    True Originality

Even though this story is a fairly common, teenage high school story, it had a unique and fresh feel. It was sincere, easy to watch, enjoyable, and had a wonderfully nostalgic feel to it. The acting was genuine, and the characters were very believable easy to relate to. I haven't read the book so I had nothing to compare the movie with, but in my book, it's a winner!
