    Liam Neeson is always great

    I guess before I saw this I expected it to be more different from the first one. Of course, like the first one, very short for a movie. I definitely liked this though, even though the first one was better. The first one had more twists, suspense, and action. Definitely more to the plot. Now this second one was good as it added in also the mother. But I felt that maybe it was to easy of a rescue or mission. Knew what was coming and more easy to guess. The first one will always be my favorite.

    Action

    I've been waiting for the sequel to taken to come out and I was not dissapointed. The second wasn't as good as the first becaues it was more predictable, but I liked it all the same. I'm especialy glad that the parents rekindled their old flame, because who wouldn't want a man who can and will protect his family like he does. Two thumbs up.

    Taken 2 is 2nd rate

    The original was intense with plot build up about prostitute rings and dad's (Brian) intense scenes to save his daughter. The sequel had too many over the top scenes with mom (Lenny) and daughter (Kim) and very little plot development, other than Liam's daughter (Kim) new romance with a California boyfriend. What makes it worse, is the ending left open a Taken 3!

    funny

    def had a alot of camera angles to hide the lack of hand to hand combat. but other than that story was good location was great but i would like to see more action

    Exciting but not as good as first Taken movie.

    Plenty of action, but not as realistic as first movie. Driving scene was too far beyond reality. Good but also was ready for movie to get over when it did.

    This movie has a great storyline and fails to deliver a very good movie to go with it. This movie mearly rides the popularity of the first one without add anything new into itself.

    a good ride

    Aside from some of the geographic improbabilities, Taken 2 offered better than average action flick excitement. Granted, I could not imagine how someone could traverse Istanbul the way Liam Neeson's character does and not end up in the Sea of Marmara, but the story was tight and the action kept me on the edge of my seat throughout the entire movie.

    I tell you, there's much to be said about the characters who have played in these two movies. It is so very believeable! They really immerse themselves into the character. Liam Neesam is just totally awesome!

    Ugh!

    Huge disappointment! Liked the first one but this one was terrible. Bad story line, bad acting. When is the last time you had your daughter run around with a bag of explosives and throw the, here and there? Stupid stupid stupid.

    Luv, luv ,luv Liam Neeson! He's both tough an tender and believable being both. I never miss a movie he's in and I never regret it. Great movie with plenty of action, tension and, yes, love. What's not to like!?

    What's the number one killer of Albanian men? Liam Neeson. The only surprise in Taken 3 will be Liam Neeson tried in the Hague for ethnic cleansing.

    Passing the Time

    Movie was good enough to make an afternoon work. The plot is getting a bit repetitive and tedious - hope no fool will make Taken 3.

    Neeson at his best always but one runs out of patience with the somewhat erratic behavior of his daughter.. again.

    See it for the fun or wait for it at Netflix

    Again?

    I really enjoyed the first Taken and was hoping that the second installment would top its predecessor and really wow me. I was, unfortunately, disappointed to see that Taken 2 was actually just the skeleton of the first film. The action was lackluster and fell incredibly short of the original's and kidnapping didn't have all the danger edge-of-your-seatness that the first had. My friends and I were very often laughing out loud at the film's ridiculousness. Despite its shortcomings, I would recommend Taken 2 as it was semi-enjoyable... I'd wait for DVD release though. Let's just hope Taken 3 isn't in the works.
