Way too many WTH/WTF moments, unbearable to watch unless it's just for blind thiller-ish action, but please waste those 2 hours watching a Jason Straham or old school Jackie Chan movie instead.

I liked the movie for it's action. As with any sequel the first movie is always better because all of the great ideas have been used. However the scene in which the daughter (Kim), steps up to save her family was very exciting. I am glad that she was not portrayed as a weakling. I would bet that she will have a bigger role in the next sequence. Also there was no mention as to why "Lenore's" husband left. Overall I liked the movie and I would recommend that moviegoers judge for themselves.

Great sequel/great characters

Everything it was supposed to be. I feel I knowMills and his family well. Taken 3 sure to come if it makes money and my theater was packed. Set up by the two sons left alive

My 17 and 13-year old boys saw this movie, and they both enjoyed it and said it was well worth the price of the ticket. The only negative comment they shared was that some of the action scenes (bodily injury or a death) didn't seem to "add up". But, overall, they enjoyed the movie, and they both gave it a thumb's up.

Do not waste your money or time

I have been waiting for this movie to release since July 2012 and I am extremely disappointed. The movie almost seemed as if it was low budget. In no way was it as good as the first Taken. I should've waited until it came out on DVD.

Taken 2 is fun to watch!

I LOVED the first Taken movie, and also very much enjoyed Taken 2. Even though the first was better -- Taken 2 is still lots of fun to watch. Taken 2 is totally driven by its predecessor movie, so it helps to have seen the prior movie. I thought Liam Neeson was great as the devoted dad (Bryan) who still wants to get back with his ex-wife. I thought the Istanbul scenes were very good and authentic. Maggie Grace was cute again as Kim. She is a little edgier now with her new boyfriend, so at least she is a little more mature in this new movie. The only part I didn't like was the final fight scene against a pudgy, short bad guy -- Bryan and this guy had no running animosity or ongoing issue so I don't understand why the director would have Bryan's final fight scene against this pudgy guy. Other than that, I enjoyed the movie very much.

Not up to the standard set by 1st.

Somewhat disappointed. Not well directed. The Get-A-Way car (Taxi) hit a lot of items including several of the pursuing vehicles, yet it sustained very little if any damage.
Liam Neeson is a big guy yet the showdown near the end matched him up against a guy who looked like Joe Pesic. No character development of the Bad Guys, and who are those guys that Neeson' s hangs out with? What do they do? Movie appeared thrown together fast.

The movie was real good, the story line was nice, it was well acted by all the actors and actress, but the action and fight scene was not has good as the previous one, i wanted more action scene and better fight scene and better dialogue within the actors. overall it was good movie but i think one was actually better.

Good, but......over-rated.

Good, but not as good as the first. Some of the same lines were used....which was kind of corny ("Focus, I need you to focus"). Neeson's particular set of skills were once again displayed in an entertaining way, but unoriginal. Over-rated, but worth seeing.

Can watch it once

I had reviewed Taken 2 movie in my blog (317cauvery in blogspot).

In my opinion, Taken 2 is better than Skyfall, for it has all the elements to call itself a Bond movie, but for the "My name is Bond" and the Bond's theme music.

Not believable

Taken was so surprisingly different that it was a very good movie. Taken 2 on the other hand was predictable. Lots of action but the camera work was awful. The fight scenes were too close and choppy! Lots of action but not realistic, the script was just okay. I will recommend to wait for DVD to come out.

I must say I acquird a mini crush on Liam Neeson after watching Taken and Taken 2 my mini crush is still alive and kicking. The movie is still action packed and although someone does get "taken" just as the first, it still leaves you wanting more. Not as good as the first but definitely NOT disappointing!!!

Although I loved the action, I had to ask myself, "Really?" The mother and daughter are self-centered, spoiled whiners who cannot learn from their previous mistakes. They want what they want when they want it and the husband/dad caves every time. Thank goodness the husband/dad can and does pull their chestnuts from their self created fires. That said, this is a great film to get away from a world of stress for a little bit.

Judge yourself

Some reviews love it some others said predictable! I thought it was great...lots of action. I loved it. Predictable most sequels are Liam was great as always. Go see it judge yourself I did it was worth it.
