Just As Good as The First

I had only seen the trailer one time so I was in for a complete surprise when I went to see this. I like the fact that it was still connected to the first movie in terms of the plot. This is a definite must see!

This movie is all that I expected. SUPER BAD FLICK a definate must see. Even my kids and parents said it is a movie to buy the day it comes out on DVD and Blue ray

Taken2 - As far as sequels go - definitely not bad

Loved the movie. Was initially not sure I would watch it because some of the reviews have not been overly positive. Guys - it is an action flick, it is not meant to be completely believable (or even remotely plausible) and if the plot is similar to the first movie no probs (it works).
I watched it because we have a serous not to be messed with father, loves his family, stops at nothing to take care of his family. and has amazing skills (fighting, mental, etc).
Definitely a film to be watched.

Unnecessary sequel

Perhaps it's because the first TAKEN was SO good, that I found this one to be SO bad. It was completely unnecessary to make a sequel, especially since the action, suspense and PLOT of the first one was so unexpected.
I found Maggie Grace to be annoying, the "romance" with Famke Jensen to be predictable (a male NEEDS a female damsel in distress, no?) and Liam Neeson, just tired. The unexpected action hero which we got in the 1st one, was exactly that unexpected, so you just couldn't repeat the magic twice!
I wasted my $12 on this flick and will most definitely NOT be getting it on DVD. I'll just pop in the original in my DVD player and enjoy it!

Perfect Movie

One again, Liam Neeson did it again. This movie is the besttt.. Action from beginning to end. Fantastic movie just like the first one. Looovee all about it.

Not Bad for a Sequel

The movie lived up to it's original thrill but because it was the second we expected to see a heavier plot. At times, the lines/scenes seemed very predictable. Also, the movie was rather short and we wanted to see more.

However, we still say go. It is a good movie that won't be a waste of your $14.

my "Take" on Taken 2

overall, a very good movie and worth seeing. It's basically a reasonable continuation of the first one so don't expect a different script. It's more of Liam kicking butt again and even though it's far-fetched it doesn't feel that way. If someone told you the entire movie it's not as though you would be losing out on some surprise ending....he kills the bad guys...simple. Unless the bad guys have even more family out there and the producer wants to continue the same script (not a good idea to do the same thing 3X in a ro) I wouldn't expect a Taken 3 and would hope Liam would turn it down if they did. Two was enough for this story. Enjoy it...

Good Action Flick

Not as good as the first one, only because it is a bit predictable. Also, a bit more of a chick flick this time. Still, good story and Liam Neeson is really good, as usual.

Fast paced action

The movie was very enjoyable. It seemed to fly by, and while it is on the shorter end, 92 min., I felt satified and curious if there will be another chapter in the series.

Passing the Time

Movie was good enough to make an afternoon work. The plot is getting a bit repetitive and tedious - hope no fool will make Taken 3.

Neeson at his best always but one runs out of patience with the somewhat erratic behavior of his daughter.. again.

See it for the fun or wait for it at Netflix

excellent sequel

great sequel from the first taken high in suspense, I love Liam Neeson character in this movie perfect for the part of course, uses excellent tactics that allow you to think outside the box. Although this movie could have been a bit longer it doesn't fall short of a movie you'd want to check out or you could wait for the DVD

Very good movie

This movie is a must see if you like great action. Most of all was the twist it had from the first movie. I kind of have a feeling there will be a Taken 3 but I hope not. You can only take the storyline so far. It should stop here. I was very pleased with this movie and will definetly buy it when it comes out on Blu-Ray.

Good sequel

Good sequel, not great. Wife and I both like Liam Neeson, and support cast. Plot seemed a little too, I hate to use the word, predictabe. But didn't you see that coming? Suspense, action, good shoot em up. All the things we wanted. Just not as good as the first one.
