    a ridiculous script well directed

    Do you really believe that in Istanbul, three grenades could be detonated in short succession, at least 20 gunmen are shot in various locations and that a taxi could break through the fortified entrance of the American Embassy and that NO ONE seems to notice? Even when the taxi has come to rest in the central courtyard of the Embassy, not one soldier approaches the taxi - thus allowing Liam and Dear Daughter to have a heartfelt conversation without interruption. This is one of the laziest writing jobs to make it to the screen in years. BUT, the action itself is well-directed and everything looks great. Completely mindless but kinetic.

    Good with some directorial flaws

    Overall a good action flick. Acting is good. Liam, great! Maggie Grace is definitely an up and coming action actor and should be noticed along with her beauty. Problems with the direction were along the lines of bad attention to details (eg, Famke Janssen was upside down bleeding yet when the cover was removed from her head it looked like she hardly bled at all. It was rather ridiculous. But stilled liked all the actors and their performances.

    Hand Grenades!

    More of the same fast-paced good guy Liam vs. a couple dozen really bad guys and lots of boom boom. I realize why some folks don't like all the guns and violence, but this is the only place I like to watch it - on the screen and not as part of the nightly news.

    Great Movie!!

    The movie was real good, the story line was nice, it was well acted by all the actors and actress, but the action and fight scene was not has good as the previous one, i wanted more action scene and better fight scene and better dialogue within the actors. overall it was good movie but i think one was actually better.

    This was a good movie. But there is a lot of movement and make you a little sick watching it. but great show. There well be a taken 3. after seeing it.

    Don't waste your time or money

    This movie is nothing like Taken, it is kill, kill, kill. The plot is so predictable and the action is so Hollywood repeat, you have seen this same movie over and over and over again. Just don't waste your time, the movie is just not worth the effort and it is an effort. We almost left half way through, what a terrible movie.

    Why I thought Taken 2 was just okay!

    Often the first is better. In this case that applied. It left room for a 3rd movie.
    I did enjoy how the daughter was able to be of great assistance, was brave and could follow her father's (as he called it Compulsive ways) which I could relate to.
    It was as you expected and rated Violent.I would not recommend it.
    Unfortunately you can only come up with so many angles and it was used the first time.

    Exciting but not as good as first Taken movie.

    Plenty of action, but not as realistic as first movie. Driving scene was too far beyond reality. Good but also was ready for movie to get over when it did.

    "Taken 2"

    This is more of the same. It's not an awful movie; it's just predictable. Liam Neeson is good, as he always is. Famke Janssen is also really good as his ex-wife. There are plenty of evil guys to root against. It's all not very original, though. And they leave a door wide open for "Taken 3".

    Lots of action, but not nearly as good as the original. Neeson is just as clever and brutal, but the idea has become predictable. A good way to kill a few hours but don't expect to come away with impact of #1.

    I love the first movie Taken. Taken 2 was almost as good. As for me I always think the first movie of any sequel is the best what I can say is they had the same actor play in Taken 2 which I like.

    Iegitimate end

    Must see eecially if you saw the original.
