Perfect Movie

One again, Liam Neeson did it again. This movie is the besttt.. Action from beginning to end. Fantastic movie just like the first one. Looovee all about it.

Ehhhh

Yes I was entertained, but NO this is not a good movie. Unbelievably far fetched at times with a stupid ending. I give it a 6 out of 10.

Very good!

I was thinking twice about yet another ''2" version, as the first movie was right on. You will not be disappointed the second one was just as entertaining.

The first one was better only because you can't do the same thing in 2 movies and expect the second one to get rated as high as the first.

The plot was not the best. His ex wife should have been killed.

Since Bourne everybody has their own one man gang taking on the bad guys.

At least in Man on Fire the main character died. I know it was based on a true story.

Stop making all these super human one man gang movies.

You've seen one you practically seen them all.

Very good movie

This movie is a must see if you like great action. Most of all was the twist it had from the first movie. I kind of have a feeling there will be a Taken 3 but I hope not. You can only take the storyline so far. It should stop here. I was very pleased with this movie and will definetly buy it when it comes out on Blu-Ray.

Another nail biter. This is one of the rare times that a sequel is as good or better than the 1st movie. I would definitely see it again.

Taken 2 a credible and engaging sequel

I was hesitant to see this movie since the original was good but I doubted that one could repeat the intensity of the original. Most sequels fall short in that regard. Taken 2 however found a great tie in to the original movie that was both plausible and which created a decent level of intensity. Liam Neeson's character has his family start to return to him in this movie and the father of one of the guys that Neeson takes out wants revenge for his son's death and the death's of the others that Neeson killed in the first movie. I think if I was an albanian male I might be offended by the generalizations made in the movie but the characters make for engaging evil dudes. They go after Neeson's family and him and the action is intense, the body count high and the tension credible. Which is all you ask for in an action drama. I enjoyed the movie. If you like this genre of movies you will likely enjoy this sequel. This movie is definitely not for young kids. Teens would be ok.

Taken 2 was a basic edit and copy of the first movie but it is way worse than the first. The first one had the suspense to keep you guessing but this one is highly predictible. You obviously knew he would kick butt and save the wife. Also, this movie is was way unrealistic because one time the daughter was crashing the car all over the place and the car came back with no dents or even SCRATCHES. Lastly, they left it open for another sequel! I know we love to watch Liam Neeson kick butt but at least do the action in another movie. You just don't take a great movie and make a sequel just for the money. Wait to rent on DVD, no where near the theatre admission price.

Great actionm movie

If you saw the first one you will also enjoy this one although it is very much the same except different people being taken. But still lots of action and worth seeing.

Good sequel

Good sequel, not great. Wife and I both like Liam Neeson, and support cast. Plot seemed a little too, I hate to use the word, predictabe. But didn't you see that coming? Suspense, action, good shoot em up. All the things we wanted. Just not as good as the first one.

YOU WILL BE TAKEN FOR A RIDE WITH THIS ANEMIC SEQUEL OF "TAKEN"!

A great looking cast cannot save this action flick from resonating as one of the top "bombs" of the year; nonsensical, implausible, laughably ridiculous. Liam Nesson, ageing nicely, is again recreating the role of "Bryan Mills" an ex-CIA operative; "Taken" revolved around the kidnapping of his daughter "Kim" (Maggie Grace) by an Albanian sex trafficking cabal; titillating, spine-tingling scenario made this a fun, fascinating movie experience...

"Taken 2" had a difficult time deciding on who was to be "taken"; Mills? Ex-wife, "Lenore" (Famke Jansson)? Kim? Actually after twenty minutes, it hardly mattered. It is spring break and mother/daughter surprise Mills in Istanbul, Turkey; they are being stalked by the father and his fraternity killers, seeking revenge for the death of sons/brothers killed by Mills in "Taken"...

1 & 1/2 STARS!!

Taken2 - As far as sequels go - definitely not bad

Loved the movie. Was initially not sure I would watch it because some of the reviews have not been overly positive. Guys - it is an action flick, it is not meant to be completely believable (or even remotely plausible) and if the plot is similar to the first movie no probs (it works).
I watched it because we have a serous not to be messed with father, loves his family, stops at nothing to take care of his family. and has amazing skills (fighting, mental, etc).
Definitely a film to be watched.

Taken 2 yes indeed go see this movie if you liked the first one! That is all I can say, it was action packed and had some humorous moments as well.

I just wanted to get out of the apartment and go to a theater with my wife and see a movie. This movie was not worth the money we had to pay to see it. Story line dumb, photography decent, chase scene good, action editing good. overall C+. Beware of any movie with a 2 in the title.
