It was all right, the fight scenes were cool and all but nothing about the movie really stood out except the scene with the Map coordinates, that was cool

Taken 2 where ??

The movie is a short experience from the 1st one there are hardly any movies that can make the 1st movie hype and although this one didnt out do the 1st one it was still a good movie for me.

Not believable

Taken was so surprisingly different that it was a very good movie. Taken 2 on the other hand was predictable. Lots of action but the camera work was awful. The fight scenes were too close and choppy! Lots of action but not realistic, the script was just okay. I will recommend to wait for DVD to come out.

if you really likes action movies this is a must go movie is good, it keeps you holding on to your chair or your partners arm, I like the direction it has the same action as the first one

If You Liked the First One

I can't think of a sequel that was ever as good as the first. Taken was a great movie and Taken 2 is almost as good. Neeson is in Turkey on a job when his ex-wife and daughter surprise him and they decide to spend a few days in the city together. What they don't know is the father of one of the Albanias he killed in the first movie is after him to avenge his son's death and they plan to kidnap all three of them, but can't find the daughter after Neeson tips her off. The rest of the movie deals with him and his wife being able to get away or not. I won't reveal anymore, because I think you need to go see for yourselves. Lots of action, and keeps your attention just like the first one.

Liam Neeson is back stronger than ever in "Taken 2" and it does not dissapoint. I do not know if it was much better than the first one, but it was action packed, and had everything you wanted in an action movie. We are set in Istanbul, Turkey where CIA operative Bryan Mills and his wide and daughter are planning on taking a few days off from the real world. Little do they know, The father of a kidnapper that Mills killed is set to come after him and his family for revenge. Liam Neeson (Bryan Mills), Maggie Grace (Kim), Famke Janssen (Lenore), Leland Orser (Sam), Jon Gries (Casey), D.B. Sweeney (Bernie), Luke Grimes (Jamie), and Rade Serbedzija (Murad Krasniqi) are in this flick. What would you do to save your family? Brian Mills will do everything in his power to get his wife back along with the safety of his daughter. They took his daughter, now they take his wife. Noone is safe. Go check it out! It was a fun ride for an hour and a half!

Good movie, does not have the same impact as first movie. It is exciting and fast moving. I think it could have done more with storyline but I enjoyed it. Well worth going if you liked the first.

Worth Seeing

If you liked the first one ... you're gonna like this one. The story isn't exactly a brain bender and there are no real plot twists (ex-wife gets kidnapped instead of daughter ... not a real spoiler there folks). Basically what you've got is Liam Neeson kicking butt for 2 hours. Its fast paced with quick edits on the fight scenes. They clearly went with the idea - if it ain't broke .... While the door is clearly left open for a Taken 3 - I would be surprised to see it.

I love the first movie Taken. Taken 2 was almost as good. As for me I always think the first movie of any sequel is the best what I can say is they had the same actor play in Taken 2 which I like.

Action, yes. Not as good as the first. Predictable from start to finish. Amazing how someone without a drivers license masters a stick-shift and high speed chases effortlessly. And apparently tossing grenades around a major foreign city is routine as it aroused no suspicion whatsoever. If you've seen the first one I won't say don't go, but run away screaming if a 3rd installment rears it's ugly head.

Not as good as Taken..... But is #2 ever better than #1 in movies?

I really liked the movie and it's a GO, but it was pretty predictable. I enjoyed the acting, the story-line and where it was filmed and some of the scenes were great. For me! I didn't think it was as good as Taken and it's probably unfair of me to compare.

Liam is the bomb diggity

LOVE IT!! Loved this movie more than the first. Great story! Liam Neeson pulls it off once again. I was on the edge of my seat this whole movie. If you didn't like the first don't worry you will like the 2nd.

"Taken 2" Delivers on Every Level!

If the challenge of any sequel is to rival or exceed its predecessor, then ?Taken 2? succeeds admirably. The film stays remarkably true to the original story and does a great job of extending the mythology, without sacrificing character development. Audiences get a much greater insight into the relationships of Brian Mills (Liam Neeson) and his family, while the plot is kept simple and believable (within the pantheon of action films, of course). Finally, the film boasts a couple of Frankenheimer-inspired car chases that compliment the relentlessly entertaining pace of the action. Put simply, it?s a well crafted film that succeeds in merging great storytelling with intelligently engaging characters.

Should have left it with just one Taken

This movie was not worth seeing. It was just an excuse for a shoot em up watch Liam Neeson kill 20 more bad guys while his wife and daughter watch. Don't bother going.
