    Good Movie

    I really enjoyed this movie. I didn't go with a bunch of overblown expectations of this movie. I went knowing it's Taken 2, not SkyFall. It was entertaining and full of nice action sequences. Very enjoyably.

    Make sure you can watch lots of death...

    It was a good "Bourne Identity/007" style movie, but there is a bit too much gore and killing... which I understand is part of the story, and the camera action is a bit hard to follow, sometimes... but overall, well done.

    Good, but......over-rated.

    Good, but not as good as the first. Some of the same lines were used....which was kind of corny ("Focus, I need you to focus"). Neeson's particular set of skills were once again displayed in an entertaining way, but unoriginal. Over-rated, but worth seeing.

    Taken 2 - Like Taken but with less French and more Turkish

    Very similar to the first Taken. Which was just fine cause that flick ROCKED!

    If they sequel again, they need to get some new stuff though. If you liked the first one, definitely see this one.

    I just wanted to get out of the apartment and go to a theater with my wife and see a movie. This movie was not worth the money we had to pay to see it. Story line dumb, photography decent, chase scene good, action editing good. overall C+. Beware of any movie with a 2 in the title.

    As good as the first

    Taken 2 yes indeed go see this movie if you liked the first one! That is all I can say, it was action packed and had some humorous moments as well.

    I realy liked this film. Foirst of all I like Luc Besson ad Liam Nesson. here was so much suspense and Neeson is just such a realistc actor. He is that good. Besson is the best. Magguie Grace is so cool. I think the cast and the idea of a family ding all tis CIA stuff is ingenious as they are so together and love each other. I thought it was funny to see Maggie drive thru Isanbul like a mad waman stockcar Danica Partrck and then pass her driving test in LA.

    One very cool film. Liam should win a nomination for best actror and Luc Besson for best writer screenplay.

    Some Likability, but Cliche and Semi-Absurd

    The former CIA agent who's daughter was kidnapped before decides that Istanbul would be a nice place for a short family vacation. Seriously? Was the Gaza Strip booked? Okay, who cares, right? Let's get to the action. I've got this superspy; I'll tie him up with plastic band and take a nap. He got out? His daughter (29! in real life ) is just getting her driver's license and spending time with a boyfriend, flies through Istanbul crowded streets smashing into cop cars with no damage to her own car. The bad guy, think world's most interesting man, has lines like John Belushi in Blues Brothers at the French restaurant ("How much for your children"). "I will sell your daughter to the lowest bidder....She will be like a piece of meat...I'm going to send you home..in pieces (ha ha)." He generates neither fear nor hatred and needs grand ritualistic torture to extend Liam's opportunities. Still, there's Liam, heroic, fighting 3-4 men at a time, so likable, a caring father. And Kim, in a bikini.

    Not Engaging

    Though Liam is easy on the eyes for the ladies, I could not believe how the writers could not come up with a more suspenseful and believable plot. The Istanbul setting saved the movie. Did not do the genre justice.

    It was alright. It provides Liam Neeson kicking a lot of ass, his daughter helping out, but it doesn't pull you in as much as the first. I would rate it as a wait for dvd.

    Taken 2 a must see

    Taken 1 was great. taken 2 was fantastic, a must see. Rarely do you see a sequel turn out better than the first movie. This is that rare opportunity. Better acting, more impact, better writing and much more.

    Liam Nesson still got it!

    That movie was so awesome!! Liam Neeson can still move as fast as all the young actors in the industry right now. I would want him as my dad! The counting and listening he did was out of this world. How did he remember all of it, is beyond me. He was prepared for anything and everything!

    Liam Neeson is the suburban 007!!

    This movie was awesome. Liam Neeson is fantastic as the middle-aged/dad/superhero. He comes across as believable and genuine. Lots of action. The daughter is a bit annoying and overly dramatic but besides that a really good movie. Can't wait for Part 3!!!
