    Yippee-kay-yay

DAMN good movie! This one was different from the rest. I had the pleasure of watching this in Dolby Atmos! What a treat!

John McClane = good old-fashioned ass-kicking with a wicked sarcasm.

A Good Day to Die Hard

    by dma415

Excellent movie. Bruce Willis as usual at his best. It was great twist to have him renite with his son and see the two of them in action together. Love all the crash scenes as well as the gun scenes. Bruce's humor is still as fresh as the days of Moonlighting.

    Good Day to Die hard

I thought the movie was good but like a lot of the actions movies its a little far fetched but the special effects were really good.

A Good Day to Die Hard

I love watching Bruce Willis & have enjoyed all the previous Die Hard movies, but this one was a disappointment. For the most part this was just car chases & explosions, peppered with massive gun power & profanity. I really missed some of the comedy we saw in the earlier films.

A Good Day to Die Hard

O.K. not great. A lot of tired lines and attempt to create the same spirit of previous (and better) Die Hard movies. Acting and directing could have been better. Cinematography was pretty good . . . big car chase scene at the beginning and big shoot 'em up at the end. Think this is the last of John McClane.

Don't judge it for what it's not.

    by FHTT

Die Hard movies have all been primarily action movies around a simple plot. This one is no different and the action scenes do not disappoint.
While I wish more was done to explain the relationship between John and his son, the movie jumps straight into the action. In fact even in the last Die Hard nothing was discussed nor mentioned about his son. I think they messed up that point.
But as an action movie it is high voltage and has great scenes.
It is worth seeing - not multiple times but certianly once on the big screen.

A Good Day to Skip This Movie

My husband and I are big fans of the Die-Hard movies - and this was terrible! The only good thing about this film was the amount of explosions - otherwise the entire cast phoned it in, the plot was painfully pointless, and the dialogue was......well. It might have been a better movie if no one has said anything and let the action sequences do the work.

    Back in the Saddle

    by tasarla

Well, diehard Bruce Willis fans like me will like this 5th offering in the franchise. Probably guys get off on the father-son bonding - a little hard to swallow but then I am not a man. Think a male might buy it more readily. The action itself is great, you won't be disappointed.

I have to say I also like Willis in other roles. An actor with such versatility should not be forced to be John McClain for us forever.

    "boring and shallow"

the dialog and plot were about as deep as a parking puddle. Not in the same class as past "Die Hard" flicks. Bruce Willis was sleep walking through this worn out yarn.

Save your money and eat some popcorn at home.

Much Better than the last one!

    by emmymd

I enjoyed the movie - there were lots of high action scenes without being too gory. I would watch it again on DVD when it comes out.

    Big disappointment

    by ksptown

I am a big fan of the Die Hard series, and Bruce Willis in particular. But this one doesn't hold a candle to the others and I was very disappointed. Aside from the spectacular action scenes there is no real reason to see the movie. There is virtually no plot, very little suspense, and the characters aren't very appealing. Even the action scenes I found hard to watch, with the jittery camera angle I actually felt nauseous at times. The action would have been more compelling if they had used different camera angles. Two thumbs down, in fact make that four thumbs down (my date didn't care for it either). Yippe ki yah!

    Lots of Action

    by

Pretty good movie. There wasn't a lot of dialogue, mostly explosions. Movie kept up at a good speed and didn't drag. Not a bad movie for a long weekend or a rainy day.

    BAD TO THE BONE HEHEHE

Any movie that can hold my attention and from start to finish is the most outstanding acting with great actors and I enjoyed all and it is a type of movie I shall add to my movie collection when it is out on DVD.
