    You've gotta be kidding.

    by

On the way out of the movie I turned to my friend and we both agreed there was NO plot. He asked me what it was about I told him it was about an hour and forty minutes. There was non-stop action; chase scenes, bang-bang shoot-em-up, vehicles and helicopters exploding. For some reason Bruce Willis' character was on "vacation" in Russia. His bad boy son turned out to be some type of CIA/Master spy dude. There was a good one moment and bad the next father/daughter team. For some reason everyone was trying to kill everyone else. It ended up in the city of Chernobyl. Why? I don't know. Writing this review was the best part of seeing this movie. If you love action and don' care about plot, rush out and see it now.

    BLOODY AWESOME!!!

What a great movie!!! Bruce Willis does not dissapoint even at his age now. For all your action lovers, and die hard fanatics, this is the perfect movie for you all. You know what you are expecting out of this movie, and that is blood, action, guns, and some great one liners! Bruce Willis is on a mission to find his son and try to be a father once again. Little does he know, he will have a short vacation and help his son on a mission to get out of Russia. There will be car chases, gun battles, and explosions all over the place! What a fun movie to spend on a Saturday afternoon. Go check it out and have some fun! Keep the kids at home.

    I'm on vacation

I really enjoyed the movie. It was action packed and it was good to see Bruce Willis in action again. Poo to anyone saying it was not dramatic enough (it is not supposed to be another "To Kill A Mockingbird" or funny enough (get a sense of humor already). Had fun.

    If this were real life....

Father & Son would be dead in the first 5 minutes...over the top action. Give Bruce Willis credit that he can still pull this off 25 years after the original at the age of 57

    A Good Night

    by

I love the Die Hard series and was excited to see this. It delivers with the action-packed awesomeness that keeps audiences coming back, but was a little more cheesy and a little less believable than the other DHs. I liked it, but I'm not desperate to see it in the theater again.

    Yippy-Ki-YES

Bruce Willis still has it as John McClain. His t-shirt has sleeves now, but it works. Just glad it was out of country this time. The acting is great and locations terrific. I don't know who does the stunts; actor or stuntman, but it came across as though the actor was doing everything. I would and will see this again.

A Good Day to Die Hard

Not what my husband and I had thought it to be. Bruce Willis didn't seem to put his all into it. The plot was boring. The movie had sour humor. We only found 3 things they said through out the movie really funny. It had a terrible ending. This was a Valentines Night out and we ended up wishing we would have seen a different movie.. we are Die Hard fans, but this was the worse one made yet.

A good day to go see an action movie!

Finally one of the old guard of action stars made a good movie. Arnold and Sly take notice!!! It's great to see Bruce Willis in this role and I may never tire of this series! Even my wife thought it was a good movie.

    Lots of action... what plot?

    by Kier42

I'm going to start off by stating that I don't have a very high standard for plot in action films. Given that, this was still a let down. This is my least favorite of the Die Hard movies, by a LONG SHOT.

A Good Valentines Day to Die Hard

    by Wraevyn

I thought the movie would have better as a stand alone, without the Die Hard back story, but still was enjoyable. McClaine to quote Glover, " Is getting to old for this ****." I will say that this and the last one did grate a little when the children finally realize that Dad is saving there ass, then at the end the finally say that are a McClaine. For those people out there that complain about the over the top action, just think of what would have come out of the '80's if they had the technological advances that we have now. I say go watch it, shut your brain off and enjoy the explosive eye candy.

Don't pay for it in theaters, enting may be a bit too expensive.

    by

The plot is terrible, the introduction and beginning of the film are poorly edited or directed and leave so much to be desired that I think even a AUTOTUNE remix can't help this movie.

Bruce Willis may have been the only positive thing in it, but now he literally stands in the line of fire and never gets hit makes me think he is still recovering from GI JOE 2.

The effects were so poorly done in parts it was almost laughable. I wish I had the ability to have killed this movie half way through with a battle cry of Yippe Kiyay Mr. Falcon*, just to save the other viewers.

A Good Day to Die Hard

It was CLASSIC from the beginning. Music, entertainment & laughs. I love an action movie with that bit of humor & much less 'F' bombs... it was great! You could actually take your 8 year old & they wouldn't be horrified!! Glad to have seen this Die Hard ! I would certainly give it more 'stars' than the critics did.

    I'd give it 4 stars ;)

    McClane!

    by

I was pumped to see this latest installment fo the Die Hard franchise, and this movie more than lived up to my expectations. The movie doesn't have the original's charm and character development, but it doesn't need it: with Willis' established presence as the "run in without a plan, guns blazing" John McClane, we just need lots of explosions, property damage, and an against the odds scenario, which the movie delivers with a bang.

    big disappointment

    by

If you're looking for anything like the first movie look elsewhere. The character lacks realism at this point, and they're just exploiting it for the sake of making a buck. should have stopped at three. John Maclaine is there to save the day again but this time for Mother Russia? It was overdone, and they were trying too much. There is plenty of action and explosions, but it wasn't the enjoyable kind. It was just to blow something up. Characters lacked substance, and there wasn't much chemistry between father and son. This is the kind of movie that when it comes out is going to be on Starz, not even Cinemax. Visually there was some good stuff but the whole movie left me feeling unfulfilled.

    Lots of Action

    by

Pretty good movie. There wasn't a lot of dialogue, mostly explosions. Movie kept up at a good speed and didn't drag. Not a bad movie for a long weekend or a rainy day.
