    Another Die Hard

Bruce is starting to show the bangs & bruises these movies produce. Alot of action and I have never seen so many cars destroyed in a movie. You will not be disappointed. Story line was secondary to the action. First class acting and directing. Fantastic locations as well.

    It was ok

    Last 20 minutes were awesome.

What I didn't like was paying $1.25 x 2 fee online from Fandango for both my tickets. Really Fandango? You are thaat cheap? Maybe I should charge you for my printer ink and paper I had to use to print my tickets, pretty pathetic Fancheapgo, last time I use you clowns

    Good Day to Die Hard

What a hoot! It was a ride of non stop action adventure and fun. Willis as the long suffering McClane with the disaffected son while predictable was a joy to watch. The guy is a fine actor with great comedic timing. It is a must see for any Die Hard fan.

    DIE HARD FAN

You have to be a real die hard fan to appreciate the story line. Bruce Willis is still funny and "on vacation" through the whole movie. Great action scenes, love him driving the truck out of the helicopter-that was pretty cool! I took my hubby as a V-day date because we have always watched these movies in the past together. All in all, I thought it was good!

    Could have been.....

I have to rate this movie a C+. It could have been so much more. I am a fan of Die Hard and Mr. Willis but this time out there was just too much over the top action. I like cars chases and explosions as much as anybody but this story was overshadowed by the action. There is a nice twist to the story but overall I think this could have been better. And much like I have said in recent reviews for the other 2 "seasoned" action stars (Stallone and Arnold S.) that have made comebacks lately I wish the writers would ditch the cheesy macho one liners and retorts that worked 15-20 years ago. They just don't carry the same weight now. Go.... if you can get a matinee price.

Way day ISN'T a Good Day To Die Hard

As I sat in the theater watching the previews of the upcoming movies showing, my wife turns to me and says, "I can't believe that we are here to see the fifth movie in a series". As I thought about this, I agreed. Yet every Die Hard movie keeps you full throttle in action, great special effects, and story lines. Bruce Willis can still pull these off after 17 years. We were both impressed with the new edition, and look forward to #6!!!!! For anyone who likes action films, this is a must go.

It's John McClain being John McClain

    by ferrule

Anyone wanting some big giant change in how a Die Hard story might play out is going to be left wanting and disappointed. Anyone unfamiliar with the Die Hard series will also find this movie to be written on the standard action movie outline.....
Over the top crashes, explosions and close calls? Check.
Strained dialogue with catch phrases? Check.
    Self examination and revelations? Check....
EXACTLY what I paid money to go see!!!! Seriously.
John McClain is a character I've grown up with. He is exactly what he is and this was one more chapter of his life.
Just like any written serial novel, the character has habits, mannerisms, conflict we've come to expect. It makes him familiar. It makes him John McClain....

    Best Die Hard Movie

This was one fun movie. One of the best chase scenes. The vehicle chases and the helicoptor scenes were great. This is a must see movie. The way the two main carracters play off each other just adds to the fun. Get your popcorn and sit back and enjoy.

A GOOD DAY TO DIE HARD

Another fine effort from Mr. Willis. I have watched all the Die Hard Series and it is one of the few movies that I purchase. It appears to be a set up for the next generation of Die Hard movies with a new lead. The new guy did well. As others have said, the plot was not as developed as other Die Hard movies. It was there and did make sense. I enjoyed it very much and hope Mr. Willis has enough left for another shot before moving on.

The acting was fine and the action sequences were beyond out standing.

    skip it

    by

Bruce Willis and his " son" are great to look at, BUT...there was way too much action, not enough content and the action scenes made me very queasy vision wise.

    Pass It Up

    by dd5470

Love Bruce, loved the previous movies, hated this one. Horrible plot, the dialogue was poorly written and even more poorly delivered, and too much CGI. This would have been a Good Day to Skip the Movie.

    Worst of the franchise

Story line could have been interesting. IIt takes place in Russia and brings out yet another McClain child- Jack. But they keep recycling old lines and scenes from previous Die Hard movies and it just becomes predictable and boring. Comparing Chernobyl to Newark was not amusing. Bruce Willis needs to make age-appropriate movies!!
