    Go see it

I went with a few people and we all agreed Live Free Die Hard was the best one out of the Die Hard series. This movie was still good and I would recommend this movie to everyone. I am a huge Bruce Willis fan and to me his movies never disappoint. This movie was funny and action packed so I say go and check it out!

    Average.... Iliked it

    by

Nada del otro mundo.... Pense que no iba a poder dormir de tanta accion, explosiones y tiros jajaja, pero dormi bien. Me gusto mucho la accion entre padre e hijo y los pocos chistes que saltaron espontaneos.

    Day to Die Hard...Dies hard

    by wtnmike

Here is yet another Die Hard sequel . The story is improbable and the ending is awful. There are plenty of shooting and car chances that make no sense as does the movie. Take a pass!

    Death of Die Hard Franchise

A Die Hard fan totally ripped-off by this "film". Terrible hand-held camera work that could not stop moving, shaking and being out of focus. Was not funny, actions shots blurr by in miliseconds. Panoramic shots have the camera moving too fast - this will be awful to watch on TV.

This director went on the cheap with filming and editing. Looks like a amature movie with a Sugar Daddy's money. Scrfip bad, way too much russian spoken, so your trying to watch a shaking images, out of focus and then read sub-titles!
The director and editor need to be shot and have thier expensive home movie buried
    with them.

If this was the first Die Hard made it would be the last.

Now I have to track down ANY OTHER Die Hard just to remember what fun this franchise
can be. I want my money back now!

    skip it

    by

Bruce Willis and his " son" are great to look at, BUT...there was way too much action, not enough content and the action scenes made me very queasy vision wise.

    Getting Tired???

    by

I'm a Die Hard diehard fan but this one left me wondering. (Spoiler Alert: Always, always we've known who the bad guy was and it was "Bruce" against the bad guy and all of his minions. Not this time and why oh why would they change this "diehard success"?) The chemistry between the characters was lacking -- what happened to the FUN -- Mr. Willis looked like he was going through the motions. Is he getting ready to pass the torch to his offspring???? Guess we'll have to wait and see. If you like lots of explosions and an excellent chase scene, go see this one but if you're looking for the MAGIC, then better to skip it and wait until it comes out on DVD or one of the cable channels.

Entertaining but doesn't need the theater experience

    by

I've liked all the die hard movies so I went and saw this one. I even paid extra for the XD experience. It did not add to the movie, which wasn't bad, and quite frankly I could have waited for blu-ray and spent my money on that. Still, if you are all about the movie experience it was entertaining. If not, seeing it in the theater is overkill.

    DIE HARD FAN

You have to be a real die hard fan to appreciate the story line. Bruce Willis is still funny and "on vacation" through the whole movie. Great action scenes, love him driving the truck out of the helicopter-that was pretty cool! I took my hubby as a V-day date because we have always watched these movies in the past together. All in all, I thought it was good!

    Action Movie Entertainment

If you like 1) Action Movies or 2) Bruce Willis then go see this! Watching it on the big screen is totally worth the 8$. Yes, compared to the other Die Hards its a much faster pace with more activity and less story-line, but Willis is awesome, he's got some really good, funny moments with his son, and ultimatley there's a lot of stuff blowing up. Not the best Die Hard flick of the group, but certainly worth seeing, as long as you know what you're in for.

    It was ok

    Last 20 minutes were awesome.

What I didn't like was paying $1.25 x 2 fee online from Fandango for both my tickets. Really Fandango? You are thaat cheap? Maybe I should charge you for my printer ink and paper I had to use to print my tickets, pretty pathetic Fancheapgo, last time I use you clowns

Worth Seeing, But Not the Best Die Hard

I liked this movie but it doesn't compare to the earlier Die Hards. The plot is far fetched (how does a NY cop get away with delving into the spy game?), and the first third of the movie felt slow with not the expected level of action. I also don't favor movies with subtitles, which this did for the opening segments. The action in the second half was typical Die Hard and great.
Definitely go and will be good in the DVD collection.

    Fun

It was definitely better than I was expecting. I was riveted. The amount of cars lost at the beginning of this movie was mind blowing. Wow. Truly enjoyed myself.

Had a good time!!! But, wanted more.

    by

So, it was exciting to see the 2nd generation of the McClanes, the action was, as always, right on. I felt that it was over a bit too soon though. Like I was waiting for a big fight between John and the huge Russian we were introduced to tword the end there. Didn't happen. But, there were plot twists and unexpected scenes that were very 'wow'!

A Good Day to Die Hard

    by Shoffy1

I've watched every one of the Die Hard movies, in fact, I own all of them. While "A Good Day to Die Hard" was terrific with action and explosions and wrecks and I will probably buy it when it comes out on DVD, this one was by far not the best one. Bruce Willis did his normal job with his jokes, analogies there really wasn't much else. I thought the story line stunk. Live Free or Die Hard was 10 times the movie this one was.

It was a solid John Mclaine movie with characters from past movies in the series

I will always enjoy Die Hard movies since I got to meet Bruce Willis in Richmond during the filming of The Jackal. He visited my workplace to use the bathroom dressed as a cop - was great. The current movie is consistent with the past movies with the exception of John doing more spectacular stunts to the point that it exceeded all my expectations. Some of the stunts were hard to believe but I didnt really care. We get to meet his son and his daughter returns from the previous Die Hard movie in somewhat of a cameo role (no action for her this time). I was disapointed that his son was shown to be somewhat lacking in skills or confidence but other than that the movie was right on. My only regret is not getting an autograph from Bruce Willis back in the mid 90's when i met him. Oh well.
