    Action NOT Writing

    by

You know the action will be good but the writing with plot and dialogue was stilted at best and boring at worst. The beginning was a bit confusing. I'm and will always be a HUGE fan of Willis and DH movies but the script effort was C-. I recommend you wait for Blue Ray DVD to come out.

    Very Disappointed

    by

How awful that this will probably be the last Die Hard movie. After the previous Live Free of Die Hard which I thought was one of the best in the Die Hard series, I was hoping for another good story and directing. Sadly if you go to see this, you'll find neither. The story is just dumb and the timeline of the story makes no sense. I don't know who to blame more for making such a terrible film; John Moore's directing, Alex Young and Wyck Godfrey's producing or Skip Woods screen play. In reality it should be all three. From the CIA operating remote Drones over Moscow with apparently the Russian Air force oblivious to it, a car chase involving some type of armored car that the Moscow police can't stop to a bi-polar antagonist the story just stinks. Then to add salt to the wound, a ridiculous sub-plot is attempted involving Bruce Willis attempting to establish a lost relationship with his estranged son Jack played by Jai Courtney. Save your money, don't go!

A Good Day to Die Hard

Not what my husband and I had thought it to be. Bruce Willis didn't seem to put his all into it. The plot was boring. The movie had sour humor. We only found 3 things they said through out the movie really funny. It had a terrible ending. This was a Valentines Night out and we ended up wishing we would have seen a different movie.. we are Die Hard fans, but this was the worse one made yet.

    Yippy-Ki-YES

Bruce Willis still has it as John McClain. His t-shirt has sleeves now, but it works. Just glad it was out of country this time. The acting is great and locations terrific. I don't know who does the stunts; actor or stuntman, but it came across as though the actor was doing everything. I would and will see this again.

6 years later, Bruce Willis is still the man!

    by tman418

Yippie-kay-yay everyone! This movie has the suspense, it's the got action, gunfights, and explosions that we'e all been waiting for. It's also shorter and drags less than the previous Die Hard films. My heart pounded during every action sequence, especially when John McClane and his son jumped out the big glass window.

Bruce Willis should go down in history as a great American action icon.

    Action,Action

I liked the crazy street action, totally cool. Bruce willis is all American as always. There is bad words in the movie but no nude woman or dudes. The plot has an unexpected twist. Enjoy

    Completely different from previous ones

    by jtfry

It was not written the same as the others. Clever dialogue was virtually non-existent and what appears to be bad editing made it seem like the movie wasn't ever really going anywhere.

    If this were real life....

Father & Son would be dead in the first 5 minutes...over the top action. Give Bruce Willis credit that he can still pull this off 25 years after the original at the age of 57

    umm ok, the no brainer

    by exp93

what i mean by the no brainer is ..u wont need a brain to watch this one. hundreds of bullets and no one gets shot. big bullets and everyone lives except the bad guys. toxic gases and water but the protagonists live on. More good than bad, lots of action and the son was good in his role. The bad guys were good. it was a no brainer ride. It was better than the last one

    good movie!

Not one of the best Die Hard's ever but it was very action packed. I liked the direction of the movie but Bruce Willis keeps saying the same things throughout the movie. This was the first Die Hard in some time to be R but there was nothing that really made it a hard R movie. A lot of cursing but not a lot of gore. A lot of action, some unbelievable but if Die Hard was to end with this movie, it would be a good ending to a great series

A good day to go see an action movie!

Finally one of the old guard of action stars made a good movie. Arnold and Sly take notice!!! It's great to see Bruce Willis in this role and I may never tire of this series! Even my wife thought it was a good movie.

    I'm on vacation

I really enjoyed the movie. It was action packed and it was good to see Bruce Willis in action again. Poo to anyone saying it was not dramatic enough (it is not supposed to be another "To Kill A Mockingbird" or funny enough (get a sense of humor already). Had fun.

    Totally Bruce

Worth going to see if your a Bruce Willis fan and a fan of the series. If you normally let kids see this kind of movie, it's relatively safe for anyone age 5 and up. Enjoy.
