The Best Movie Out Of The Trilogy

First off I would like to say that I am praying for all of people who were involved in the shootings in Aurora, Colorado.

The movie is excellent, I liked the fact that they put someone up against Batman who could actually hurt him and force Bruce Wayne to actually find his dark side and train harder to beat Bane.

The ending is awesome, I won't spoil it for anyone who has yet to see but the last minute is completely unexpected and I am really glad that the "sidekick" has arrived.

    Sean S.

The Dark Knight Rises didn't rise.

    by dgd0460

The third installment in the Christopher Nolan trilogy was a disappointment in the dialog and the plot development. My big disappointment was the character Bane who looked like Michael Chiklis and sounded like Sean Connery with a mouth full of marbles. I could only understand about 1/3 of his dialog. The plot left too many loose ends asking the questions where, why and how. If you go see this movie save your money and get the DVD or if you have to watch it on the big screen go to a matinee showing.

Almost as good as The Dark Knight

Really, all that needs to be said is that it lived up to the hype, which itself was massive. This will go down as one of the greatest movie trilogies of all time, if not the greatest superhero movies series ever.

    The Dark Knight Rises

I loved The Dark Knight Rises. I wasn't aware of the surprises in the movie. There were parts that made you want to cry and some very jubilant...hooray for the good guy. The plot was fabulous. Christopher Nolan must make a sequel...
I'm not divulging any of the surprises but if you're a Batman fan you'll love this movie.
I hate it has to end...

    All around greatness

The film was everything I expected. I've been waiting for this film for the past three years and yes, the wait was worth every second of it. I did not know what was happening next and only one director is capable of reinventing the franchise and not killing it. The new roles that each individual character contributed was sheer brilliance. Even though Nolan said no more films are going to be made he open up so many unique story lines. For example, Bane's unique story is worth making a film out of because of his realistic traits instead of some overdosed venom dimwit. Also opened new path for a special character in the film. Don't want to spoil the film but lets see if you can guess who it is.

but overall I will go see this film another 3 more times .yeaa

    This Dark Knight truley rises!

With the exception of Heath Ledger's performance in the "Dark Knight" this film has a unique plot and a couple of twists that add to its dramatic conclusion. I've seen it twice and it improved the second time. An instant classic!

    Best Catwoman Ever!

This movie was definitely better than I expected, of course predictable Batman fashion here and there, but it is a comic, after all! Catwoman was an unexpected surprise, and fabulously brought to life by Anne Hathaway, and Christian Bale did an amazing job, as always. The big shocker for me was the presence and verocity of Bane, played by Tom Hardy (yummers)!
I was also pleasantly surprised by a twist or two, ones that usually don't do well in movies like this, but Nolan pulled them off brilliantly. I will definitely be in line for his next movie, Oz!!

    Awesome! Best Catwoman Ever

    by

I thought that this film was the perfect ending to the Nolan trilogy. Everything was wrapped up in a tiny bow at the end, and Michael Craine put on an amazing emotional performance. I felt all of the actors were fantastic - but Anne Hathaway really hit it out of the park with her performance as Selina Kyle. Incredible!

I wish I could see everything on IMAX

Third viewing for me and Bane just keeps getting funnier and funnier. It was the first time for my buddy but he was also surprised Bane'isms haven't taken over pop culture. Mass shooting take the fun out of everything.

    Movie of the Year

    by

Hard to come close to the perfection that was the Dark Knight, but the Dark Knight Rises comes close. A perfect ending to an epic trilogy. Probably the greatest cast of actors we've ever seen in one movie and they are all oustanding. Hans Zimmer again proves why he is the best in the business with his powerful score heard throughout the movie. To either miss this movie or not like it only means you hate movies and the stories they can tell. Just like Inception, Memento, Batman Begins and the Dark Knight, Christopher Nolan has written and directed another great movie classic.

    Masterpiece

My favorite of the trilogy and I'm sad to see it end. Jason Gordon Levitt stood out, and the rest of the cast was amazing. The Knightfall saga is handled almost seamlessly. Go see it!

    One chapter ends, another begins...

    by Krash69

The Dark Knight Rises was an excellent movie and a fitting conclusion to this chapter in the Batman saga. My only disappointment is that Christian Bale won't continue in the role. I think he was the perfect embodiment of the physical and character traits described in print.

The Dark Knight Rises - Excellent Movie (no spoilers!)

Acting, Story, Special Effects, Action Sequences... This movie has it all. I give it a solid A (a few inconsistencies dropped it from A+). This is NOT The Avengers. That was definitely more comic-bookie. This is just a great film. Dark and Brooding, with an awesome plot.

Batman (the character) is only in about 25% of the film, and that doesn't take away from it at all. Anne Hathaway & Joseph Gordon-Levitt were great addictions to the cast. It's a shame that this franchise won't have a 4th film.

Really a great summer movie, but definitely darker than Avengers. There's a lot of realistic violence and not space lasers and electric bolts.

    You'll love it.

Did not want the movie to end.

The movie was amazing. A must see for 2012. There were some dull moments but the story was full and complete. The IMAX experience was great however it was difficult to understand Bane at times.

    AWESOME!!!

BEST SCREEN EVER!!! Yes, there is a HUGE difference between a regular screen and this IMAX screen. Must experience for yourself and you be the judge. Not any IMAX, the one on Broadway @68th Street.
