    Excellent movie -well done

In the true style of Dr. Seuss. This is not a new story but one told by many including Dr. Seuss so eloquently It is cute to be certain but the message is heavy and serious - and true. Young kids will love it, older kids/teens/adults will love it too but leave the theater thinking a little more about moral and ethical behavior. Well done.

Was cute - but not in 3D

I took m 10-year-old daughter to see The Lorax in 3D and we enjoyed it, but did not feel that it was in 3D at all, so was disappointed in that.

    Illuminate's next step

While they fall prey to a lot of the issues seen in Despicable Me (overused sidekick humor, not quite nailing the flow of including humor for both adults and children), Lorax was definitely in it's heart a re-invention of the classic Seuss tale for a new generation.
The opening and closing musical numbers feel a mite forced, and one song in the middle feels excessively heavy-handed, possibly even for children, but there's still enough character and charm to find enjoyment if you can overlook these issues.

    Must see!

An amazing movie! They pulled no punches when commenting about capitalism and big business at the expense of our environment and our children's future. A moving, clear and consise message to the next generation about greed and destruction.

    Great Movie!!!

This is a great film for the kids, a visually attractive, exceptionally acted and directed. Kids of all ages will find this film visually stunning, an exemplary and very current time storyline. Dr. Seuss had it right all this time!!!

Very enjoyable, for children and adults.

I went to see this in 3D with my sister (we are both in our mid-twenties.) We both really enjoyed the story, as well as the allegorical significance of it to today's tendency toward over-consumption and the often destructive nature of capitalism. I would say it's enjoyable for all audiences, young and old!

    Warm and Inspiring

This movie was enjoyed by all.
This movie sends a message about the environment; but the other message that came out the clearest is that one person can make a difference in the life of others if they reach out and try.
I will be waiting to buy this on Blueray 3d when it comes out in the future.
Kids will love this movie the most, but adults will cherish the message and memories this movie brings.

    Absolutely Adorable!

We took our two grandsons, both age 6, to see this in 3D and loved it as much as they did. Great movie, 3D was awesome and it's a really good story. 5 stars.

    quality!

    by jbz420

I took my family (including very active 3 yr old son) to this movie and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. My son stayed in his seat and watched the entire movie. The story was not drawn out, it was entertaining for both kids & adults and I felt the actors voices fit the animated characters well. I would recommend this movie for a family.

'For Kids' - is no excuse

This movie is meant for kids maybe 4 and younger. My kids are 11 and 9, and they were bored. I was more bored. It's a Saturday morning TV cartoon, with some bad songs thrown in, and actually dare to charge you real hard earned cash to go see it. Wait for the video, and even then I would only recommend it for really really young kids.
