    One of the best movies I have seen

    This is one of the best movies that I have seen in a long time. I usually do not pay the ridiculous prices of the theaters but this was an exception. The graphics were amazing! As well as the makeup and costume designs. Everything looks real, this was definitely a big budget movie considering all of the effects. I would not bring the kids, a lot of in good nature swearing with the F bomb but it did not ruin the movie. There is 1 nude seen where some TNA are shown but nothing jaw dropping. I would go back to see this movie, you will not regret it.

    this movie is a very good movie to see if you are between the ages of 15-35. It has that Grim brothers feel to it and both actors that are Hansel and Gretel play there rolls well. Hope that they make a another one and keep the same cast it would be something to go and see that would be very entertaning.

    Time I will not get back

    I went to it and after seeing it I thought this is 90 minutesof my life I will never get back. It was stupid with Hansel being a diabetic from eating to much candy to the weapons they used in it. It was like they ran out of ideas so they thought we will just add "WITCH HUNTER " to the end of a fairy tale and make a movie.

    Great action, bad writing

    I have to say that I went to see this more out of wish fulfillment than anything. I mean, the fairy tale is one of my favorites and I really wanted to see Gretel as more of a strong female character. While we do see that she is take charge and independent, the story centers on her pining for meaning and loss of parents. Once you get past the fact that this strong woman runs to her brother to solve problems or needs to be saved no less than 3 times in this movie, you have a story of Gretel coming of age to understand what she is; apparently more powerful than she understands, but reluctant to use said power for unknown reasons.

    Hansel has a love interest that is barely explored. A fanboy arises out of nowhere to join the band with no questions as to motive. Insulin shots for Hansel's diabetes as a plot device?

    There is plenty wrong with the movie, however if you are looking to kill 90 minutes and want to see some wicked fights, go see it. Do not expect character development.

    about as ridiculous as you expect

    I didn't go in expecting an Oscar worthy movie, so I was not disappointed. The entire movie was incredibly ridiculous, but I went with my sister and a friend and we enjoyed the movie and experience thoroughly. I would recommend seeing it if you want to laugh and see some action.

    It was just ok

    The movie is good when it came to special effects. But as a story line it was like growing up in the fast lane. Not enough there to justify the story.

    Didn't live up to expections

    I was expecting this to a movie that I could not take my eyes off the sceen, but it was a movie that I coluld have waited to come out on DVD. It was another movie that the previews sucked you in but thats was just it the shouwed all the best parts in the preview and with its run time of 1hr and 40m its was not worth it.

    Great movie

    I will tell you, this is a great action packed novelty movie. They did a great job developing the plot and characters. Don't wait around for Redbox, this one is worth the 12 bucks at the theater.

    Hansel and Gretel

    Good action, has comical parts to it, actors did a good job but the backside nudity and some un-needed language...let's face it, back in that time period I don't think that the 'f' bomb would have been part of the language of the day...keeps me from suggesting an automatic go or must go. I was entertained and dismayed at the same time. The movie would have been just as good, if not better, without the nudity and language.

    This movie really entertained and delivered ten times over in my opinion. Jeremy Renner was the icing on the cake. He is so HOT, I'd watch this movie over and over. OMG he is 'smokin hot'

    action packed fairy tale

    This was a really good movie, a little more blood and guts than I expected but really good none the less. I loved the special effects and the characters, plus the movie length was just right. Not for your younger kids to see but anyone over 16 will probably be fine with it.

    Definitely a new twist on the fairy tale, but ... didn't love it. Don't know what I was expecting, but just didn't do it for me. Slightly entertaining but mostly boring. Kinda spoofy. A little corny. Somewhat predictable. A pinch of gory. Glad I had a free ticket.

    Great Flick

    Don't look for the cure to Cancer in this movie! It was fun, and a great take on Hansel and Gretel! Loved the action and the unique take on all new action fighters. I love the fact that they actually cussed in the movie and didn't try to weigh it down with old style speech. They actually say F**K!!! It's awesoime! It kept things fresh and fun. Definitely a good flick! Very entertaining!

    Hansel & Gretel

    The classic fairy tale?The mix of Old And New was entertaining,being type II diabetic myself We both(my fiancee') got a major giggle out of that one,Good vs Evil,and it was humorous at times,You always get the I've seen this one before feeling,but I guess that was what they were going for,It was the comic book heroes,vs the storybook villains...I didn't expect too much of this movie,But it was fun to watch on a Saturday morning,reminded me of my childhood days,with a bowl of cereal on the floor watching cartoons...Could Edward have been Fred Flintstone?:)
