    It's ok

    The story line isn't all that bad but if they would have taken out the needless nudity and use of the F word. Besides that it wasn't a bad movie.

    Made Well but very perdictable

    Although the movie was made well, great special affects and the actors did a good job, the movie was very predictible and after the first or second witch hunt ...extremely boring. Not for little kids as the blood and guts was ongoing.

    all you expect, action, average acting and a naked chick

    This movie is all it promises to be, an decent fantasy action movie. The dialogue was nothing of substance, but if you're looking at going to this movie that's not really what you'd care about anyhow. It wasn't the Grimm story of Hansel & Gretel that we all know, but I thought it was connected well enough that it could keep the name.

    One of the best movies I have seen

    This is one of the best movies that I have seen in a long time. I usually do not pay the ridiculous prices of the theaters but this was an exception. The graphics were amazing! As well as the makeup and costume designs. Everything looks real, this was definitely a big budget movie considering all of the effects. I would not bring the kids, a lot of in good nature swearing with the F bomb but it did not ruin the movie. There is 1 nude seen where some TNA are shown but nothing jaw dropping. I would go back to see this movie, you will not regret it.

    Terrible -- and I loved it!

    This movie is so not for everyone, but I really enjoyed it. After an opening live action sequence, the movie opens with a cartoonish pseudo-medieval-news sequence that goes on for way too long, but sets the stage for the rest of this frivolous and completely silly movie. This is not a movie for the young or squeamish, however silly it might be -- the gore and violence are intense at times. It's also a little heavy on the messages, but in spite of everything, I enjoyed it. How do you rate a movie that is stupid and silly and yet, very likeable. Totally NOT great art, but fun anyway. I'd say that if you can stand a lot of gore and violence and like silly fantasy, GO. If not, don't worry -- you probably wouldn't lke it!

    Great special effects and make up but pretty stupid plot

    Ok, so the movie overal was ok, not an over the top plot. The make up used for the witches was bad ass, the first witch encounter got me shivering! I loved how bad *** they acted through out the film.
    Kind of a Spoiler: in the beginning of the film when they grew up, it took them great length to kill a witch, towards the end it seemed like killing a witch was like riding a bike. It was kind of like the new lord of the rings, i dont die and kill hundreds in a few minutes...its just to phony.

    I would recommend seeing this on a weekday when the price is cheper, but overall not bad. id give it a 6.7/10

    We liked it! But we like those cheesy movies, like Twlight(THIS IS WAY BETTER), Van Helsen,.
    Will watch part 2 , if they make it.
    R for the "F word" about 5 times.

    Don't bother..... not even on when it comes out to HBO

    This movie SUCKED. Tacky, full of poor one-liners, completely lame, and pathetic. We thought it would be more like a Snow White and The Huntsman vibe. Just a weak B movie. Save your money and more importantly, your time.

    Cool Movie, But The Book...

    This was a newer version of Hansel and Gretel, I liked it and I think you will too. Check out the books if you like it. lol

    Classic Tale!

    This was a fun movie and added a nice twist to the "Hansel and Gretel" story we have all heard and read. We have a brother and a sister who are on a mission to take down every witch there is in the area who are taking the children from the local town. They have seen it all, they have witnessed it, and now they must band together with the locals to stop the evil from spreading. You have blood, guts, action, and romance!! It is set in a town in the 1700's and has beautiful scenery. If you want a fun story, go check out this new flick. The acting isn't the best, but that shouldn't stop you from buying a ticket. I enjoyed it and will buy it once it comes out in DVD. Go see it in 3-D! Everybody loves guts and bullets coming at you on screen. Keep the kiddies at home, there is nudity and way too much violence. Fun movie!

    At first I though it was one of those movies that I though would be worst then I though it would be. But It was already 75 percent of the way through and I was laughing and enjoying the every moment. If you haven't seen it go see it. I will be seeing it again.

    Eh.

    Fun movie. Nothing else, think Van Helsing with more gore and cursing. Weak plot, Jeremy Renner was the only actor that I saw on the screen who was acting, and a very short film. Remember when seeing it, silly humor and close up action, hard to see whats going on, its an MTV movie after all.

    Hansel and Gretel:Witch Hunter

    I enjoyed the movie.it was entertaining and the acting was good.It would be scarry for a child.For an adult mostly it was entertaining.I plan to go see it again with a friend

    Very good, above expectations

    I wanted to see this since I love action and fantasy. I was afraid that it would be a disappointment though. The movies was actually very good as it did not take it self too seriously with plenty of funny moments, and lots of great action. This may be too gory for younger viewers, but it is great for adults.
