Best Exotic Marigold Hotel

One of the finest movies I've seen in many a year. Wonderfully written, finest magnificently skilled cast, beautiful cinematography, funny, witty, heartwarming. I wanted it to go on for another hour.

I am 67, but cannot imagine how it would not be enjoyable for any theatergoer that enjoys film.

Feel-good, quick pace, fleshed out

I REALLY loved this movie. The pace was quick but not too quick, all the characters were developed appropriately and adequately, and it was beautiful. I left feeling satisfied and uplifted.

Great characters

Movie wasn't what I expected. It was better. Good characters that got better as movie progressed. even though endings were predictable I still enjoyed the journey. And Maggie smith and Judy dench were wonderful to see as usual.

Excellent movie!! If you saw it and did not like it, maybe you aren't old enough to understand the content. Superb actors, great story line, and who knows?! It could happen. I could watch it again. My husband also loved it. So take all your friends, and if you are younger, you might learn something!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Worth Seeing!

I enjoyed this movie. I liked that it was filmed in India so we were able to see different parts of the country while getting to know the characters in the movie. The acting and storyline were great as well. My first impression was this movie was aimed towards an older crowd but I went anyways and enjoyed it. Worth seeing.

Great film for anyone over 20

Dear All:
I went to see this film with my mother, who is in her 70's, and my nephew, who is 22. We all laughed and yes, did a little crying! Although I had wished for a little more character development the film was pretty darn good. Having just assisted my father through his last few years and now in the process of helping my mother transition to living on her own for the first time in her life we laughed about much of the predicaments that the "older and beautiful" people face in this movie. Life never works out like you planned or hoped but sometimes, just sometimes, it's better. That's also the way I felt about the film.

Lovely Movie!!

This is such a beautiful movie about life and how to put things in perspective. It's an eye opener between the life we are leaving and the life we really want to live!! Great actors and very well done! Not recommended for children since it will be hard to understan by a young audience. At the end everything will be alright.....

It Is a comedy, a love story and a travel log all rolled into one,
Funny,heart warming, and very well acted. The cast had so many talented actors and if you are a Baby Boomer you will certainly relate. If you are a young couple the love story Is sure to touch your heart. Enjoy

Nice trip to India

I saw this movie at a sneak preview before it was released and loved it. Great cast and story line. Great trip via film to India and my desire to travel there is greater than ever before. Loose yourself for a couple of hours in some wonderful characters and come out with a smile on your face.

What a pleasant and happy surprise!

We agree with Pearl313 - this was a beautiful movie. But disagree with the statement that it would not make sense for anyone under 65 to see it! What a silly comment! I, a 51 yr old, had not heard of this movie, but hubby, 52 yrs.old, wanted to do dinner and a movie, so we took a chance on this movie and were so glad we did. My sister, 42 years old, also tagged along. Performances by the young and old were superb and there were many very funny lines! Some of outcome was predictable, but that didn't overshadow the story / movie experience. We are about 25 years younger than most of the main cast, but that did not matter at all. We loved it!!

This was one of the best movies I've seen in a long time because it was so relatable and honest showing the issues relating to seniors these days but with humor and sensitivity.

The actors, of course, were excellent. Just goes to show you they're better with age.

I recommend this movie to anyone because the voice in it gives great insight and hope for anyone even when life doesn't seem so kind. There is always hope that situations will turn around -- one just has to take the bull by the horns and be open to change.

I hope this movie garners some Oscar or other awards during award season.

Terrific acting! Must see for all people over 60. Younger people most likely will not appreciate the messages. This is a wonderful movie for discussion after.

I have seen the trailers & clips but the movie is not in the St. Petersburg Area....WHY???
A fabulous cast and well written movie. Can we show something beside action movies???
Very sad that it is not being shown!!

It was one of the best movies we've seen this year. It is academy award caliber. Maggie Smith exhibited several personnas & should be nominated for best actress award. We saw it last night at Cinemark Boynton Beach.
