    Good storyline. It is a must see. But the "nudity"references are incorrect.

    This film was good casting and acting. Tyler Perry in his non-directing debut was excellent. Actually the portrayal of the supporting cast was good as well. Matthew Fox plays a believable villian. Carmen Ejogo does well as Mrs. Cross.
    There is a reference by the critics about nudity. I didn't see it. I did see scenes of lingerie, but not nudity. I think if there was nudity for real, the PG-13 rating could not be applied. But I digress.
    This is actually a movie that I would take a teenage child. Though it is not Journey 2, it is something that teenagers and adults would find entertaining.

    This is just a so-so movie. In a way predictable but I didn't see the ending coming. It is different then the book, if you read it. Wait for the DVD.

    A Good Change of Direction for Tyler Perry

    I really like @tylerperry as an actor. Even though the film was not a MUST GO for me and I know he has had quite a few roles, it was good that Tyler helped shift my paradigm away from his Madea role to show more diversity in his acting ability. What can you say about Matthew fox in his role??? He was one scary dude and did an excellent job... Should get Best Supporting Actor in my opinion. Liked the story line and the cinematography was really good...

    Exceptional movie in every way! Tyler Perry is excellent. James Paterson provided a fantastic storyline. And, when Tyler meets James there's electricity in the movie - it works overtime. It you are a Tyler Perry fan or if you like a good mystery movie or detective story, this will satisfy you. It's a must-see for Tyler Perry fans. Warning - there are a few spots with graphic violence.

    the movie was action filled. however it was almost nothing like the book. had it been written from the book probably would have had a better plot. i did like it. tyler perry did a wonderful job, i was waiting for him to forget his role and revert to former roles, but i didn't catch it if he did. this movie is not for young kids. i did enjoy it. scale of 1-10 = 8.5

    Bad actors....

    The storyline wasn't all bad, but the actors are pretty terrible. It's hard to see Tyler acting outside of the grandma. It's entertaining, but missing explosive acting.

    This movie was one of the greatest movie and it was so true to life. Yes it was an adventure throughout the entire movie. There was not a dull moment. There were some sad moments and so is life. It was good to see Tyler Perry play a total different role from the Madea role. He is just a very good actor and I think he got his point across playing another role. I hope he continues to make other movies and play other roles. I think this movie is a Must Go!

    This was a very good movie. Seeing Tyler Perry play a different character was different. He played a good part. The movie was full of action and drama. I think you will like the movie.

    Those of you that are use to Mr. Perry comedic geneous will get a big surprise with Alex Cross! Tylor does a great job in this action thriller and I would recommed any one, if you seen Tylor before or not, to go see this film. Great job to all in this production!!

    The movie was ok!i had potential in the beginning but towards the end it fell apart for me. Tyler Perry is an good actor but I can't take him seriously!

    GREAT JOB TYLER!!!

    Tyler did a great job he showed real acting talent proving that he can do more than "MADEA".
    The movie exceeded my expectations going to see it again.

    Matthew Fox did a great job as the bad guy, left me sitting on the edge of my seat.

    The book was better

    Mis-casting (not great on the chief of police, etc)... and little depth explored in the movie. The bad guy should have been developed more --- pain is his calling? the movie was too light on the psychological development or the demonstration of this terrible man. Not enough also to see the complexity as to why Dr. Cross was a genius detective. Overall very generalized. Camera work was not great in much of the action portions of the film. I love Mr. Patterson- but unfortunately, Hollywood did not do him justice with this film.

    I like the movie overall. Tyler Perry did a really great job. I've read the books in order with only a few left to go. There were some things that happen in the movie that's different in the books. I will buy it when comes out on DVD. Worth seeing in the theatre.

    You want action? You want suspense? You want characters you care about? Then Go see this movie you get it all. A great role for Tyler Perry to tackle I think he can take the franchise very far!!!!

    I enjoyed the movie, thought it moved along at a good pace and kept me engaged. I really feel like the critics review of tyler Perry was way off. He was good in the part. Go see it.
