    Movie great, web page hostile

    We loved the movie. Tyler Perry proves he is a versatile actor. Lots of edge of your seat moments and a couple that will make you jump. I don't like having to dodge around a bar begging for more reviews. Worse yet, selecting the button to hide the annoying bar keeps bringing up a Verizon/Xfinity page in a new window. I know you want money, but I paid a convenience fee to get the tickets and am giving you my review for free. Sheesh!

    Wait for the DVD

    Saw Alex Cross last night, first of all the bad guy Sinister was so bland, and during the main fight scene they tried to show it both Alex Cross and Sinisters POV which made the majority of the scene blurry and you couldn't tell what was going on and that was really the only action scene. Basically a dull movie although I will give Tyler Perry credit because prior to this I couldn't picture him as anything other than Madea let alone an action hero. Edit

    GREAT JOB TYLER!!!

    Tyler did a great job he showed real acting talent proving that he can do more than "MADEA".
    The movie exceeded my expectations going to see it again.

    Matthew Fox did a great job as the bad guy, left me sitting on the edge of my seat.

    Pleasantly Surprised

    The movie was really good. It took a minute for me to get over Tyler Perry not being what I'm used to seeing (totally me and not him) but he did well and the movie had a little bit of everything, comedy, drama, action and suspense.

    It was refreshing to see Tyler Perry continue his excelleant practice of his craft, and let someone else handle the other details as he puts him self on the screen.

    Great Movie!!

    I was very interested to see Tyler Perry play a 'serious' role. I am a huge fan and he did not disappoint!! The movie itself was very well written. I cried, laughed and sat on the edge of my seat at different times during the movie. Matthew Fox did a stellar job, as usual. Great movie!!

    Alex Cross is a very good moive not as good as Kiss the girl great action but little too much Alex Cross is a thinking man not a action guy but again a recomend this to see and compare............

    Good story. I had read the book, so as expected, there was a a lot of action. Acting was so and so.
    Wish Morgan Freeman had done it, it would have made a difference.
    I certainly wouldn't recommend it for kids. A little too violent.

    More than I Expected

    I am a huge Tyler Perry fan but my expectations of him playing a more serious role were sub-par before seeing this movie. When the credit started to roll, and the lights came on, I had a new-found respect for Tyler Perry as an actor. This movie is a MUST SEE. Matthew Fox's character is going to be one to remember!

    Bad actors....

    The storyline wasn't all bad, but the actors are pretty terrible. It's hard to see Tyler acting outside of the grandma. It's entertaining, but missing explosive acting.

    Good but not Great

    Tyler Perry did a really great job of acting, especially since he is usually seen in a comedic role. The rest of the acting was good too. The story line was a bit weak, but all in all, if you don't expext an "amazing" plot and movie, an enjoyable night out, but not with the kits, it's a bit too intense in places.

    I really liked this movie,Tyler Perry did a good job, there was a constant flow of action right up to the end and the action was like you could feel like you were right in the midst of it.... i would go and see it again..

    If it was not for Matthew Fox this movie would be a NO for me. Richard Simmons would have been a better pic for Cross. Save your money at the box office and just rent it.

    I REALLY enjoyed the movied. I was greatly impressed by Tyler Perry's ability to play
    Alex Cross. He was a good pick to play him and fit my image from the Patterson books.
    Matthew Fox did an excellent job as the "Bad Guy" and I would definately be willing to
    see this movie again. (that is high praise indeed from me).

    Good movie. Too much blowing up of things. Tyler Perry did a commendable job but I just do not see him carrying that role. Cicely Tyson added some class and believability to the movie.
