It was difficult at first to take Tyler Perry, seriously, in any other role other than as Madea in comedy film. For the first 30 minutes, every move or word he said made me chuckle. Then, as I got more into the movie, the more I liked his new high action, more serious role. To me, the most high action and interesting part of the movies was watching the hit man, whom loved pain. I rate the movie a 75% or 7.5 out of 10. On the contrary, Tyler did a great job in Good Deeds. He is an excellent actor, but, just needs more practice in serious roles to get the audience used to seeing him in such a manner. Would definitely like to see more of the serious side of Tyler! I bet this movie is not worst than Paranormal Activity 4, the homemade, video-cam series........Overall, would recommend for teenagers to adult level, but not for kids.
