    Expendables Light

    I went into this movie wanting a rock solid action film. Another Demolition Man would have been excellent. What I was given was a dumb downed version of the Expendables. Same quality of acting, not as many fan favorites. The story was basic like most action films, and sadly super predictable like most action films. There is nothing new here. Jason Mamoa was actually a very good villian but was used so poorly that he seems like a secondary character instead of the person you want Sly to get. Some of the dialogue is very witty and entertaining. Overall this movie is a buy some popcorn, turn off all reason and then try to never think about what you saw or you will hate it. But I would say this movie is worth watching if you are a fan of Sly, or stuff blowing up.

    Typical Stallone

    This movie is Sly, so what do you expect? it is what its supposed to be, if you like him you will be ok with the movie, if you don't you might want to wait on the DVD

    Bullet to the Head

    Just flat good fun !!
    Stallone's character is vulnerable yet determined with a warpy sense of soulful honor. Stallone looks to have his priorities square in having fun making cinema instead of those out thier simply making a buck. great directing,great editing.
    Sarah Shahi is like sprinkles on ice cream here, a delicious addition that enhances the whole experience !!

    Someone Shoot Me

    I didn't have high expectations for this movie. But against my better judgement, I saw it anyway. It was awful. Worse than I imagined.

    The plot was ... I don't even know what it was supposed to be about. It was a bunch half-cocked killing scenes strung together for 91 LONG minutes. Watching someone play a violent video game would be more entertaining.

    The action was dumb and gory, you could see the "twists" coming from a mile out, the acting was horrible (why does Stallone's face not move when he talks? You can barely understand what he's saying), and all the characters are so dislikeable, you kind of hope they all get taken out. And soon.

    In a time when 3 hour movies seem to be the norm, you know there's a problem when a 90 minute movie has you begging for it to be over after 20 minutes. Don't waste your time. You'll regret it.

    Ok, movie but nothing to get excited about. Stallone is the same old Stallone. Granted, you know what your getting when you go to one of his movies. This one is kinda dull, buddy movie jokes fall flat, unnecessary scenes and banter. Not enough Sarah Shahi. I was hoping she would've had a bigger roll, but not to be when Sly wants as much screen time as he can get.
    This movie was fine for blow em up action but the working parts (acting by some) needs some work and doesn't pull it over the top for me

    BULLET TO THE HEAD

    This film is indeed an action packed for sure. Stallone still has the moves; but time is running out for this type of high energy movie for him as the main star. Like all R rated movies today way too much cussing and nudity. I guess I am going to have to accept it, if I want to continue seeing new movies that come out. The acting is good and I liked the storyline. It was a well written script and I can see more of this character to come in the future. I found this film to be very entertaining even with the violence and bloody scenes throughout. I can still recommend this one to see because it is a strong film from start to finish.

    Bullet To The Head is aptly named

    The violence was a given--nothing in the way of surprises here. But the language was unnecessary and so was the gratuitous nudity. The story was entirely too weak to even say the language and nudity could be overlooked. IMHO, it was thrown in to artificially add SOMEthing to the movie. It failed. Pass on the movie.
