    A real surprise!
I take my 11 year old son to a lot of movies. I did not expect this movie to be particularly good but I was really suprised. We both loved it.
    Great story - Well told.

The Odd Life of Timothy Green

    by wgeagle

I was very pleased with the movie. It is not very often that you can go to a movie and not find bad language or indecent clothing. It was sad but a good movie for all the family. Thanks for making a good all around movie. I wish there were more!

Ok Movie - Life of Timothy Green

Kids liked it. I thought it was ok. Didn't know what to expect. This movie is like the old "Sunday night Disney Movie" from when I was a kid. No need to pay 12 / ticket to see this.

    Held kids' attention

Took two 9-yr olds and a 5-yr old and they were completely in to the movie. Not the greatest movie from the adult perspective, but I was happy the kids enjoyed it.

very touchy, nice movie! makes you think and appreciate what God has given you in this life:) love the message of the movie about embracing our differences rather than trying to be like everyone else. Each has excellence in their own gifts.

THIS IS A MOVIE THAT IS GREAT FOR FAMILES

My wife and I went with another couple to see this movie. We laughed, we were excited and yes some of us cried.
You don't need to be apprehensive about seeing this movie because it is Family Friendly.
Once again Hollywood has proven that it can produce a great film with out all the trash that appears in movies.

    Go and see iti!.

    meh

Took my nine year old sister. We both thought it was s-l-o-w. The parents seemed high strung which made the home situation just weird. I wouldn't want them for parents.

    Bring tissues

This is a very good movie however it is not the feel good go home with warm feelings movie. You basicly cry from start to finish. I went home with a hole in the pit of my stomach. Defenetly putting this in the "Walk to remember ", "Notebook" catagory.

A nice movie for parents, not so much for kids.

    by DaSuss

The movie is a sweet story, but speaks more to parents than to kids. My 9 year old who loves moves fell asleep for the first time ever during the movie. I would have enjoyed it more had it been more like my expectations. I thought it was going to be a funny kids movie for a lazy Sunday afternoon. Swing and a miss.

The Odd Life of Timothy Greene

Great! So many "life lessons" packed into a couple of hours. Anyone who has ever loved and lost anything needs to see this movie. My 11 year old son loved it too!

    awesome!!

My 6 year old daughter (and myself) was completely involved throughout this movie. After the movie she said, "that movie was so short." I think that says a lot for a 1 hour 44 minute movie. Great for the entire family!!!

Timothy Green Movie touches the Heart!

"The Odd Life of Timothy Green" is a touching film that deals with parent-child relationships and the wonder of being different in our
community. Timothy Green changes the hearts of the people he meets. He also demonstrates how important living in the present moment is for all of us, since nothing is permanent and life requires constant change. This Disney film is a winner!

If your child is adopted, tune in....

The movie is very well done and is a great story. That being said, I went in unprepared for many of the story lines along infertility, the adoption process for the parents and a child and the emotionality that in inherit in these complex issues. My daughter is adopted and we are very open about all discussions is this realm. This film really gets at the pain and the heartache that is interwined in the above, but too the joy that can emerge despite it all. I am not sure I would have gone to see this with my 8 year old however, without a bit of discussion ahead of time. I write this for any others who have struggled with infertility, the heartache and blessing of adoption, and the children that may or may not be a part of their lives.

The movie is wonderful, just be prepared for less of a light-hearted movie, and more of at a happy child teaching th the complexities of adoption, infertility, being different and rising above it all. Kids have so much to teach, if we let them.

My husband and I saw The Odd Life of Timothy Green yesterday. It was the best and
most enjoyable movie we have seen in some time. We phoned our children and grand-
children when we arrived home to encourage them to see this movie. We intend to
suggest to our friends at church service tomorrow to be sure and see this film. It was
great not to have to endure foul language, nudity, etc. We plan to purchase this movie
when it comes out on DVD.

    Great family movie!

In the movie, Timothy really displayed selfless and tender love (well done). It was refreshing to have a movie where we as a family can go together! Though, I did NOT enjoy some of the movie trailers or commercials.
