    Great family movie

    by

Hollywood doesn't put out too many family friendly films like this. Go and see it. Take your entire family. You'll laugh and cry. We loved it.

    Ho hum

Don't bother to see this unless you have kids you want to take. It's a fairy tale in the grand Disney style. I do love Jennifer Garner though, and the children in it are darling.

The Odd Life of Timothy Green

My ten year-old-daughter and I just saw it last night and loved it. It was such a lovely story. The two of us couldn't stop crying--loved it!

    Great family movie

My son wanted to see Paranorman. Paranorman seems to have some inappropriate language for a PG movie according to reviews so I decided we would see Timothy Green. The problem is, with so many movies that contain violence and crazy characters and robots, what kid wants to go see a movie like this? I had to talk my son who is 12 into the movie. The movie kept his attention well enough although my son did lean over and ask me a few questions during the movie because he didn't grasp the point that this couple couldn't have a child of their own. Then when the movie was over I asked how he liked it and he said "yea but I dont get how he came from the garden?" My first thought was "are you kidding me? you never questioned how spy kids got into the video game... it's a fantasy!" while it IS a family movie I think kids over 12 would enjoy it most and probably girls more than boys. Personally I loved it and the whole theater clapped at the end so that should tell you something! It made me smile

    Critics Are NOT Like Us

    by rneel01

Boyfriend did not want to go because critics panned this as the worst movie of the year. But 80% of Fandango customers recommended it so we went. I want you to know that people clapped at the end! How often does that happen? Good, middle of the road movie with tears at the end. Nice.

Timothy Green Movie touches the Heart!

"The Odd Life of Timothy Green" is a touching film that deals with parent-child relationships and the wonder of being different in our
community. Timothy Green changes the hearts of the people he meets. He also demonstrates how important living in the present moment is for all of us, since nothing is permanent and life requires constant change. This Disney film is a winner!

    Super Sweet

I really enjoyed this movie. I don't think it was really a kids movie (which there were a lot of at the theater). It was very touching and a clever story. I'm a big fan of Jennifer Garner, but everyone did great.

I went to see this movie not really expecting much.I was really surprised by it.It was well acted, directed and had a beautiful story. It is the kind of movie you can take say an 8 year old too.It had some good morals to teach. Not in a preachy way either. You will enjoy it with your family. Not too many movies you can say that about.

The Odd Life of Timothy Green

This was a good movie that evoked various emotions throughout the story. Although the premise was fictional and extraordinary, there were some very good life lessons - One should not ignore the problems life brings, but should face them realistically, together, and with hope. Also, be thankful for the miracles and realize that many times miracles are clothed in the ordinary. I enjoyed the movie and would recommend it for middle school through adults.

    Fun Family Film

    by

Was not expecting much after seeing poor reviews on Rotten Tomatoes, but really enjoyed this movie, as did the rest of the family. Found it sweet and moving, and made me wish Summer was not coming to an end. Great one to see with the kids

The title may be odd but the movie is not odd at all!

I was expecting something more supernatural from this movie but in the end it was a very natural story of people learning to give of themselves and be freed to be themselves. Jennifer Gardner as always is very endearing and the kid who plays Timothy was really natural. The "factory may be closing" is a bit of a tired device, but the uniqueness of a pencil factory in the age of the internet actually worked.

    Good family time.

This movie was a wonderful family treat. It shows children that being themselves is okay. And it reminds parents that you cannot be perfect. The setting for the movie was absolutely beautiful.
