    A Gamer Nerds Paradise

I loved this film! In a world where Disney is failing in entertainment, this film stands out as a major hit! In addition to the great story and fantastic story, the film is a gamer's paradise, with classic video game characters making cameo appearances such as Clyde the ghost from Pac-Man to Sonic the Hedgehog. The fictional games created for the movie were beautifully integrated with real world games and very intriguing, after the film, my friends and I all agreed we want to play Sugar Rush.

    Definitely buying the DVD

I took my 4-1/2 year old boy and 6 year old girl to see this last night and they both loved it! It's the first movie my son has seen in the theater that he didn't try to get up and play or talk through and tell me the movie was too long or boring.

It's not a laugh a minute riot, but the jokes are solid, well timed, and perfectly delivered (not surprising given the cast!) The movie has a lot of heart and is a great story line for young viewers. There were a couple of lines ("Move your molasses", "Don't be a bunch of ***** willows") that I wouldn't want my kids repeating, but they didn't get it and it wasn't funny to them so no pearls were clutched. I generally discourage the over abundance of potty humor with my kids (because holy crap can they go on and on about farts and poop!) but they got a kick out of seeing me laughing at the "Hero's Duty/Doodie" scene.

    SURPRISINGLY GOOD!

WHEN I FIRST SAW THE TRAILER FOR THIS MOVIE I HAVE TO ADMIT IT DIDN'T SEEM VERY INTERESTING TO ME. WELL THE FAMILY WANTED TO GO SEE THE MOVIE SO OFF WE WENT.
AS THE STORY LINE DEVELOPED, I FOUND MYSELF LAUGHING AND GETTING EMOTIONAL ABOUT THE CHARACTERS IN THE MOVIE.I NOW HAVE TO ADMIT I AM VERY GLAD I WENT. WE ALL CAME OUT OF THIS MOVIE WITH TWO THUMBS UP. GREAT JOB DISNEY! ANOTHER FUN MOVIE FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY TO ENJOY!

    Wreck It Ralph Deconstructed

    by

?Wreck It Ralph? combines theme elements from both the Megamind movie and Candyland game but creates a plot unique for the main message of ?Wreck It Ralph?. The ?Wreck it Ralph? character plays a person who only wants to break out of the rut of being misunderstood and transform into a dynamic character that is respected and appreciated by others. However, the character of Wreck It Ralph unintentionally goes about it in an extreme way and causes the other game players into being forced to intervene before it is too late. ?WrecK It Ralph? is great for anyone who enjoys animated films and/or positive feel good movies such as ?Megamind.?

    not as impressed

i was really looking forward to this movie, but came away a little disappointed. It just seemed to be missing something. Not sure what... It had some nice hidden concepts for adults, especially children of the 80s video games, but the whole digital-candyland deal lost me a bit. Found myself having to explain several things to my 7 year old, inside jokes and science and stuff.

    Wreck-It Ralph

While a good, cute, wholesome movie, it was clearly written and designed for middle-school children. My wife wanted to go see it, and after watching it, it was defintinely a rental for adults.

Great movie for adults and kids!! Brings back some memory of old arcade games for the adults and very good humor for both. Go take the kids. Great movie.

    Very well done!

We can't speak to 3D, we rarely watch those now... But this movie was just an overall joy to watch, super well edited, great story and the acting crew created an awesome energy! And we think they created some of the best video games you could imagine, maybe 4 or 5, in one fail swoop! ;-)

Great movie for people of all ages!

Whether you know video games or not, this movie is amazing either way! The trailer doesn't do the movie justice, the story is much more intricate. It was adorable, and heart-warming. You must see it!

    And the Pixar Short, Paperman, was the cutest thing in the world :}

The "Roger Rabbit" of the Video Game Generation

    by

While "Wreck-it Ralph" won't win any awards, nor will it probably be a classic for future generations, it achieves its purpose well: providing a non-stop adventure through the cords and bits of a video game universe filled with humor, emotion, and in-jokes for the moms and dads. If you know what the Konami code is, don't miss this film. And, if you know who Pac-man is, don't miss this film.

Kids: I took my four year-old to see it in non-3D, and that was a good choice. He was engaged through the whole film... but didn't leave excited. If you have a six to eleven year-old, it's probably right in the pocket for them, boy or girl.

    What a Sugar Rush

If your faith in a quality Disney movie has been tainted, this should restore it. A cute, witty movie that serves adults as well as kids: hats off to the animation studio that started it all. I went in expecting... next to nothing. I left blown away. I have revisited twice, dragging people that don't even like games in with me. Everyone has left agreeing that it is a well sculpted machine of comedy and rich storytelling. And what's more? The voices match the animated creatures! It feels that the tamber as well as the characterization of the literal characters matches, pitch by pitch, that of the visual. So, whether you see it in theaters or wait for it on DVD: watch it!
