Appeals to Audiences of All Ages

Good movie - the many types of video games covered allows it to appeal to a wide range of people. Good action scenes - good dialogue, and a good story. We opted for non-3D - and never regretted it.

    So cute!

    by

I took my 7yr old son to see this last night. It was very funny and I would recommend it to everyone! Yes it's a kids movie but there is plenty of adult humor to catch and not the kind with a dirty hidden meaning. More like the two police officers were donuts and their names were Winchell and Dunkin. Plus it offers good lessons for kids to learn from. I thoroughly enjoyed it and will be buying it when it comes out on video.

    Definitely buying the DVD

I took my 4-1/2 year old boy and 6 year old girl to see this last night and they both loved it! It's the first movie my son has seen in the theater that he didn't try to get up and play or talk through and tell me the movie was too long or boring.

It's not a laugh a minute riot, but the jokes are solid, well timed, and perfectly delivered (not surprising given the cast!) The movie has a lot of heart and is a great story line for young viewers. There were a couple of lines ("Move your molasses", "Don't be a bunch of ***** willows") that I wouldn't want my kids repeating, but they didn't get it and it wasn't funny to them so no pearls were clutched. I generally discourage the over abundance of potty humor with my kids (because holy crap can they go on and on about farts and poop!) but they got a kick out of seeing me laughing at the "Hero's Duty/Doodie" scene.

    It was fun

Took my 4 year old to see wreck it Ralph and my son loved it. He is a typical little boy and loved the racing, the wrecking, the colorful characters and the plot. As for the adults they had all these gaming characters that we grew up loving and a few jokes for us! It was a good "feel like a kid again" movie!

    Great Concept

    by werpnst

We took our two kids and two of their friends to see WIR. The concept was very funny and it was fun explaining to all of the kids the way video games appeared and were played in "the beginning". Very good family movie.

    Wreck-It Ralph ROCKS

    by Paul B

This is a MUST see movie. It is engaging, fun, adorable - and something I have never called a movie before - sweet. You really feel for the characters and the roller coaster ride is simply awesome. This is a movie for kids and adults.

Most Unique Story I've seen, that had me in Awe.

Wreck-It Ralph was amazing! Seeing old arcade classics come to life and interact with other game characters was brilliant. I was one of the older adults there, but my inner child was definitely entertained. I definitely recommend this movie to all ages.

    A Gamer Nerds Paradise

I loved this film! In a world where Disney is failing in entertainment, this film stands out as a major hit! In addition to the great story and fantastic story, the film is a gamer's paradise, with classic video game characters making cameo appearances such as Clyde the ghost from Pac-Man to Sonic the Hedgehog. The fictional games created for the movie were beautifully integrated with real world games and very intriguing, after the film, my friends and I all agreed we want to play Sugar Rush.

    Wonderful Movie for All Ages

The last time I remember seeing a movie like this, it was the Toy Story series. Just like those movies, Wreck-It Ralph is a joy and delight to watch no matter what age you are, from five to ninety-nine. It has an awesome storyline and great inside jokes both for video gamers and candy and cookie lovers. This is one of those classics that you'll want to watch again and again for years. We have been anxiously anticipating this one for almost a year now, and it definitely lived up to our expectations, and more!

    Good for a laugh

Cute animation and good humor for kids. Many adults were talking about the "old" video game references. Kind of predictable. Not worth the price of an evening ticket but a good rainy or snowy day matinee might be feasible.

    Has its moments

The set-up was interesting and the conclusion was fun, but I actually had to fight against falling asleep during the middle third of this movie. My expectations were probably too high as I saw all the Must Go ratings, but really, this is rental material for the kids. Not terrible for adults, just boring at times. And be prepared to want to eat lots of sweets by the end.

    AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!

    by

Video game culture rules at your local cineplex !!!!! an imaginative take on video games with all the references and cameos you could possibly want (Street fighter,sonic,pac-man,etc). A story that has as much heart as it does humor.Sarah SIilverman delivers the best performance I've seen of hers,This movie manages to stay true to video game fans while creating a story and characters that youll love and remember. There is honestly way too many good things i have to say about this movie Disney did a great job maintaining authenticity of cameo characters and really drove forward its own story. Your going to have a hard time watching this movie not feeling a lump in your throat its that good. whether your a video game fanatic like me or not you will love this movie, see it NOW!!!

    Great movie for kids

I enjoyed this with my 9-year-old daughter. The movie has a lot of fun with the idea of the characters behind the screen of the arcade game. It manages to make us care about the characters and what happens to them, although my daughter was never truly scared her favorites might not make it. She said it was "kind of awesome actually"

    Wreck-it Ralph

This movie was excellent. My six year old really enjoyed it as did my husband and I. Great movie even if you don't have kids. If you played video games as a child (or still do) you will love this movie. I just wish the previews didn't last 25 minutes before the movie started.
