Good movie. Disney has another hit!

    by jpn1

Good storytelling from the house of the Mouse again. I liked the short cartoon "Paperman" that played before the feature too. Packed house with all ages and lost of laughs.

    Sugar Rush

    by

This was a fun family romp with enough 80's - 90's video game references to keep the parents amused. Like so many projects touched by the Pixar folks (notice the Lasseter credit), this film manages to evoke genuine emotion at several points.

It's not a great film, but this Toy Story for the arcade delivers a fun, sugar-coated outing to the cinema.

    B+

    Great movie!

I was so excited when I saw the previews for this movie and had been waiting for months for it to come out to the theaters. I was not disappointed! It was as good as I wanted it to be and better. If you have arcade or video gaming in your history you will surely enjoy many inside jokes from characters past and present. The story was heartfelt and happy, and we left smiling and laughing! Great movie!

    Great Film!

Loved this movie. Very touching. Another great story with a great message that will gut you in the end in a positive way. Great film to see with your little one(s).

    Great Movie!

Kept us laughing the whole time and with more of a twist than one would expect from a childrens movie! Loved it and absolutely recommend for adults and children alike!

Wreck It? More like Crush It...

Great movie, brought back lots of good memories. I love the mix of 8-bit graphics and today's technology. Also, Jane Lynch did a great job too!

    loved it!

    by

What a fantastic movie! Such positive self-acceptance and anti-bullying messages that are so relevant for kids (and adults!) today. The movie was at times hilarious, poignant, suspenseful, and thought-provoking The animation cleverly incorporates current technology while giving nods to games of the past. I couldn't say a bad thing about the move- it's a must-see for everyone!

    Disney does it again

My family and I love a lot of the things that Disney does. From Pixar to the Avengers movie we've been very pleased with what we have seen. Add Wreck-It Ralph to the list. I thought it was a very well written movie that adults would be interested it and shouldn't fall asleep thru and my boys absolutely loved it. They enjoyed the video game take (cause they love video games) and they are parts of the movie where they laughed themselves silly. I will say that you don't necessary have to watch it in 3D, watching it in regular 2D still provides a great show. Good movie, even if your not having a family night out.

    Has its moments

The set-up was interesting and the conclusion was fun, but I actually had to fight against falling asleep during the middle third of this movie. My expectations were probably too high as I saw all the Must Go ratings, but really, this is rental material for the kids. Not terrible for adults, just boring at times. And be prepared to want to eat lots of sweets by the end.

    Wreck-It-Ralph

This movie was awesome!!!! My child and I loved every minute of it. As a parent, the name calling was a bit much, but tastefully done.

The story line was dynamic as well and I (as an adult) loved the fact that I couldn't figure out the storyline right away.

It is a great family oriented movie. Best animated picture for us so far this year.

    PG? Not really.

    by

Call me old-fashioned, but this movie was way too violent with not much redeeming message for PG. My six-year old boy and I left before it was over at his request! The trailer was totally misleading. We are getting too desensitized to violence if folks think this is ok for kids under 10 or 12.

    Great Flick

I dont have kids and went to see this with my boyfriend. The movie was great! There were a lot of children in the theater and you could tell they enjoyed it as the only noise they made was laughter.
Go see it. It's great for adults and children.

    So cute!

    by

I took my 7yr old son to see this last night. It was very funny and I would recommend it to everyone! Yes it's a kids movie but there is plenty of adult humor to catch and not the kind with a dirty hidden meaning. More like the two police officers were donuts and their names were Winchell and Dunkin. Plus it offers good lessons for kids to learn from. I thoroughly enjoyed it and will be buying it when it comes out on video.

    Good Laughs

Like a lot of old school video game players I wish Ralph jumped into more games, it totally needed to happen but then at the same time there were enough cameos that made this movie awesome. It also helped that the voice acting between John C Reilly, Sarah Silverman, Jane Lynch and Jack McBrayer was simply spot on. The chemistry between their characters was magic and drove the whole movie and story along. I didn't even feel the time pass by. This movie is great for adults, kids and the kids at heart; be it play name that video game character or spot the candy in Sugar Rush it's just such good fun. A must see and I have to say I will be looking for it when it comes out on DVD.
