Pretty Good but watch the content

I took my 9 and 7 year old to see the film. It was fun, but some of the content was not really suitable for that age range. Watch out for the zombie incident in the first group meeting early in the film and some of the name calling is a little out of line. Other than that, it was a fun show.

    Wreck it Ralph

Awesome movie. I think that I enjoyed more than my 5 year old son who also loved it. This movie is like heaven for your eyeballs. Being an artist this movie and its great animation gave me a ton of inspiration. The characters were great and there were a lot of referances to the games from my day. Great time for the whole family.

    So good...

    by nace180

I can say that I wasn't 100% thrilled when my brother picked this as his movie of choice for his day off movie. I was so pleasantly surprised. The classic arcade references alone were worth the movie as a whole, but there was so much more to it than just some campy old time 8-bit glorifying movie. The characters had great personalities and I was able to find myself really feeling for each of the characters. As an adult with young siblings I sometimes lament having to do the kid stuff, but I felt like I got as much out of it as my 12 year old brother did. There was a few things that made us jump, and I think that's fun in a movie because it keeps you on your toes. Overall this was a great movie and I could see taking younger kids as well as people older than me enjoying it.

    AWESOME!

This is one of the best kids movie. My daughter and I were amazed and had a great time. I didn't close my eyes once. By the reaction of everyone else, it was a great movie.

    Great Family Film

This movie was lots of fun for kids and parents, especially parents with a gaming background. The arcade world created in which these characters exist is clever, and the voice talent is excellent. The storyling is engaging and touching.

Great movie for adult and kids

Saw this movie with my wife and six year old daughter. What a great film. Kept my daughter engaged the whole time, laughing the whole time. And both my wife and I enjoyed the homages to old games (even though not gamers) as well as the adult, yet very appropriate humor.

It is just nice to see an animated movie does not need to devolve to crude and inappropriate jokes and no story at all except the gags. This movie is just so well done and such a joy. I swear I heard as many adults laughing as kids. My daughter is still talking about the movie.

Big two thumbs up from our family.

And the short movie at the beginning almost stole the show. Might have rivaled some of pixar's best shorts.

    Cute Kid's Movie

Took my 4-year-old nephew and from our discussion following the movie he go it, which is good considering I thought it was cute, had a good message and even had a few laughs myself.

    Wreck It Ralph

My child and I both laughed out loud several times during the movie and spent the rest of evening discussing our favorite parts and characters. We liked it and will see it again when it is out on DVD.

    Absolutely Adorable!

    by Aly_G

I spent the entire movie squealing, ooooing, aaahhing, and just generally geeking out! Video games references were everywhere, even in the way the characters move and speak. The characters were wonderful, with great backstories and development. Even the little things in the movie connected well into the overall plot (without giving anything away, there's a reason why they say Ralph "goes turbo"). SOOOOOO WELL DONE!!!

I plan on making a Vanellope Von Schweetz costume for Halloweens and Cons! She was the absolute best character of the movie! I may not have expected the movie to spend so much time in the Sugar Rush game, but it was totally worth it!

    H - E - (Double 'Hockey Sticks') Y - E - S !!!

True, I was there for the advent of "Pac-Man" and faithfully rode my bike to the arcade every chance I got to battle it out with my "besties" for a "Top Ten" score, but OH this movie took me back. In my mind's eye, I kept interchanging "Donkey Kong" and "Wreck-it-Ralph" but it was such an engaging story, I just went with it and enjoyed the ride. I wondered a few times if Seth Rogen was even alive when Pac-Man came out, then later found out John C. Reilly actually voiced "Ralph". I was pleasantly surprised! The story is well-plotted and lends vision to the age-old pondering of children, such as, "Could Superman beat up Mighty Mouse?" and "What if all the video game characters knew each other in real life?" Well, this film lets you take a journey down that very path. My personal favorite was at the "Bad-Anon" meeting when Ralph admitted he wanted to be "good" and Clyde (the orange ghost) turns into (the blue ghost on the run from Pac-Man). Ha ha - I loved it! Don't miss it! =)

An Amazing Homage to Gamers... and "Good Guys".

Wreck-it Ralph is an amazing movie that aptly captures the magic of videogames and our own childhood memories. And not only does it manage to avoid over-saturating the movie with over the top video game cameos, but it manages to tug at our heartstrings with genuine emotion and a stirring storyline.

This is definitely a movie I want to see a second time in theaters. :)

    Very Enjoyable!

It was definitely better than I thought it would be from the previews. Took me back to my younger days when I was a huge video game wizard. The story was great. Very touching and great for children and adults alike. I am normally not into the kid movies but this one was very well put together. Go take your kids to see it. They will love it! It is worth the price of admission!

    Worth it.

It was a great movie, brought out the nerd in me, and it was great to see some of the video game characters I grew up with in one movie... Definitely worth the price of admission.
