Love this animation! Disney has really outdone itself!

I'm an avid animation fan and Wreck-It Ralph really had the driving story as the shining pivot. As a whole, the animation graphics was superb as it took advantage of downgrading some models to make them less detailed but it totally worked because of the story. The introduction of various cameo characters and familiar beloved videogames really makes you go AWWW! or AH!!! I KNOW THAT CHARACTER! at almost every scene. I was really engrossed in the movie and it's really great for audiences of all ages. Love this movie!

    Wreck-it Ralph

This was so cute, saw it with a bunch of middle schoolers for a field trip and it reminded me of Toy Story only in video game form. I would definitely go see it a again.

Shut up and take my money

    by RPJesus

It's somewhat hard to discuss this film without some variation of spoilers, so suffice to say you should definitely see it. It was fantastic from the beautiful animated short before the film to the easter egg after the credits. It was packed to the brim with video game references and homages, providing an extra bonus to those of us who get them, but the film's plot is solid and enjoyable even to somebody who doesn't see what all the hype about "The Nintendo" is. To that end, all of the nods to gaming are organic and naturally woven into the film, rather than falling victim to the temptation to have a character shout "HEY GUYS, REMEMBER POKEMON?" every five minutes, as homage films sometimes do.

In short, why are you still reading this? Go see it now.

    Great movie

It's great to see Disney back on top and this one fits in with the great trend of movies from Bolt, to The Princess and the Frog to Tangled. Everybody in the family can enjoy this one. I plan to see it a second time to try to catch more of the video game in-jokes.

    Cute and Quirky

    by bfvogel

While I wish the writers would have leaned toward the "Old-School" gamer a bit more I thought that it was a good balance of wit, humor, and geek. Very kids friendly while not being at all mind numbing for adults

Brought the Kid out in me

I only have one word for this movie: AWESOME! My girlfriend and I loved this movie from beginning to end. I was involved from the very opening sequence of the film to the very end. I will definitely be going back to see this movie at least 2 more times.

    so cute!

before i went to see this movie, i just figured it would be another cartoon. but i was so wrong. it actually dealed with real life things, like being lonely. me and the friend i went to see it with cried our eyes out. i absolutely fell in love with a lot of these characters, and the effects are amazing.

    Wreck It Ralph

An adorable movie, my son, who is 5 was more intrigued by the racing element than anything else, hence there is a factor of interest for all children and adults, hi step father enjotyed the racing as well, while, I as an Englosh teacher enjoyed the plot and the theme.

Good movie. Disney has another hit!

    by jpn1

Good storytelling from the house of the Mouse again. I liked the short cartoon "Paperman" that played before the feature too. Packed house with all ages and lost of laughs.

    Soooooo Fun

We all equally loved this movie. Funny gags and references for adults, and plenty of laughs for both my 8-year-old game-obsessed son and my five-year-old daughter. Go see it. It's another John Lasseter awesome movie.

KIDS AND PARENTS WILL LOVE IT!!

    by rs_yes

I was skeptical of the movie at first - mainly because there wasn't much advertisement for the movie in my area. However, I gave it a shot after reading some good reviews on it on other sites. The movie was GREAT! It had lots of kid humor, but also enough of adult humor. I found myself laughing more than my son (I'm a true kid at heart). Definitely take your child (or children) to see this movie over the holidays!

Went without kids to a matinee and had a good time!

    by tz75

Embarrassing but true! I love imaginative comedies and this was certainly one. Not quite up to Toy Story or Up levels, but it had heart, and laughs. If I knew more about actual game characters, I probably would have even understood more, but it works! and yes, there was a good message in there, too.

Some younger kids may find parts scary

We took our 9 year old son and a few of his friends to see it. One of the kids, a 5 year old, had a hard time with it and found parts of it scary. The rest of the group seemed to enjoy it.
As a mom, what disturbed me were the trailers that the theater showed before the movie. They were inappropriate for the type of movie and I think that is what caused the problem for the 5 year old. By the time the movie started he was already upset.
