    Dad Riley

It was pretty good. Interesting plot. You had to have been an arcade addict to get some of the characters. Overall it was humorous and compelling. Really shows an anti bullying and anti discrimination message.

    awsome

This movie was full of laughs and is great for kids, I would know I am one. Seriously you should go see it, and take the kids.

An excellent film, in my opinion.

Wreck-it-Ralph was an excellent film, in my opinion. It made an important message while still being quite funny. As an "Old-School Gamer", I loved the arcade and console references. Some of those arcade games I remember playing! I will definitely buy this one on Blu-Ray.

    Wreck It Ralph Review

Disney?s new animated feature Wreck It Ralph, I would say is a must see for families and video game admirers. Though it centers around a more retro-ish Video arcade game era it has something that will satisfy everyone from kids, parents and gamers.

PS-This movie has tons of easter eggs that will be sure to excite gamers and even parents with little knowledge of old school video games.

PPS- There is a nice animated short that comes on before this movie called Paper Man. It?s really heartfelt and reminds me of the classic Disney art style.

    Sugar Rush

    by

This was a fun family romp with enough 80's - 90's video game references to keep the parents amused. Like so many projects touched by the Pixar folks (notice the Lasseter credit), this film manages to evoke genuine emotion at several points.

It's not a great film, but this Toy Story for the arcade delivers a fun, sugar-coated outing to the cinema.

    B+

    Best cartoon\arcade movie ever

Awesome movie, I loved it, but for some reason my seven year old said she didn't like it, so maybe it was to creepy or fast for young kids. The reason I say creepy is because there is a part at the end where this weird dude morphs into a this nasty scorpion, so it has the head of an old man, and the body of a scorpion with white and red on it. It also might be that there are alien bugs and shooting. Overall, the movie is good and has some voilence, but a lot of comedy. I would say it would be a slight learning experience of teamwork, and to treat others nicely.

    Great!

One of those great animated films that adults will like as much as kids?especially if you remember arcade games from back in the day. Really liked this movie.

    More than I expected

My charming wife and I went off to see Wreck-It Ralph and thoroughly enjoyed it. I was expecting plenty of jokes about old arcade games and it delivered in those terms. I didn't expect to enjoy the relationships between the different characters so much, or to have the plot actually surprise me! It was funny, it was sweet, it surprised me; I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Wreck it Ralph BUILDS an Amazing story!!!!

For those of you who remember Arcades, who still love arcades, you will find Wreck it Ralph to be an amazing adventure. The imagery is fantastic and scoops you up into the Candy Coated world of the Video Game Sugar Rush. Wreck it Ralph is the villain of a game where he always wrecks the buildings and Mr Fix it fixes it. Ralph hopes to become a hero and try to earn a medal after years of losing as the villain in his game. Game hopping is a big no no in the arcade, and it gets Ralph into trouble as he gamehops, getting caught up in a whilrwind adventure. This type of film reminds me of the hit Shrek, similar in quality story wise and imagery scene wise. From Ralph, The Candy King voiced by Alan Tudyck, to Venelope voiced by Sarah Silverman each character is amazingly done and has an interesting backstory. Highly recommended for kids and adults alike. You will become immersed in this world inside an arcade. And you'll never view an arcade the same again!

    A Family MUST SEE

    by

It starts with an incredilby heartwarming short-
Throughout the movie parents will find themselves pointing out beloved arcade charactors form their youth, while getting a glimpse of bad guy trying to be good guy, Ralph. His heart is already determined to be good, but when he meets Vanellope, he learns to care about someone other than himself. The entire cast is perfect! Jane Lynch-Awesome, Sarah Silverman-I'm not usually a big fan but Kudos, John, you made me cry-And Alan(aka Steve the Pirate) you've come a long way baby

For video game fans...young and old!

This is a great movie, especially if you grew up with video games. The number of references to games from all the different eras of video game history is staggering, and its a blast watching the movie just to see if you can name all the different game characters you can find!

The best part is the story is awesome on its own! The characters are lovable and endearing, and you will love it from beginning to end!

    Too Cute!!

This movie is exactly what it says it is, a childrens movie, unlike other movies for kids tend to have too many adult undertones this one was really good at sticking to the basics. The movie overall was really cute and teaches a valuable lesson on being true to yourself. For boys and girls I would totally take my son and any other kids to see this movie again. I really enjoyed it myself as well!!!

    Fantastic!

    by dhawk00

A great movie for anyone born in the last 40 years. Ever played a video game? You will love this movie. Not only does it tell a good story, it also manages to sneak in references, and be incredibly fun to watch. Its a Pixar film, so you know it will also be great looking!

    Definitely buying the DVD

I took my 4-1/2 year old boy and 6 year old girl to see this last night and they both loved it! It's the first movie my son has seen in the theater that he didn't try to get up and play or talk through and tell me the movie was too long or boring.

It's not a laugh a minute riot, but the jokes are solid, well timed, and perfectly delivered (not surprising given the cast!) The movie has a lot of heart and is a great story line for young viewers. There were a couple of lines ("Move your molasses", "Don't be a bunch of ***** willows") that I wouldn't want my kids repeating, but they didn't get it and it wasn't funny to them so no pearls were clutched. I generally discourage the over abundance of potty humor with my kids (because holy crap can they go on and on about farts and poop!) but they got a kick out of seeing me laughing at the "Hero's Duty/Doodie" scene.

    Great kids movie

My son and I go to see everything that comes out. This was by far the most original and interesting of all the animated films so far this year. We loved every minute of it!
