    AWESOME!

My six year old (girl) said it was awesome! Her favorite was the little girl named Penelope. My eight year old (boy) said it was funny. They would go back and see it again right away!!

    Good One For the Kids

    by

I've seen some pretty bad kids' movies (e.g. Happy Feet), and this one didn't feel like it was four hours long, which I consider a resounding success. There are some contrived plot twists, but overall, it was entertaining enough.

My rating is in the context of kids' movies, mind you. I wouldn't recommend an adult see this one alone.

    Made me cry three times

    by

Definitely it's own movie. It didn't try to be Toy Story or Shrek. A must see for the whole family. Not many movies my husband will go to with us and he liked it as much as my boys. Great Job Disney!

Wreck-It Ralph Brings Back Fond Arcade Memories

    by

Wreck-It Ralph is a great animated family film about a bad guy character from a video game who wants to be a good guy. The film is an absolute hoot because it uses background characters from some of the most famous arcade games in history, including Pacman, Mortal Kombat, Q-Bert, and even House Of the Dead. The character of Wreck-It Ralph is a likable hulk who has been the bad guy in a video game for over 30 years and wants to know what it is like to be a good guy, and he achieves that through a goofy little girl character from another video game he manages to infiltrate. The whole movie is a lovable homage to arcade video games, populated by memorable characters and great comedic scenes. It is being presented in both 2D and 3D, but either version is just as entertaining as the other. I took my grandson to see it and with him being a video game fanatic, he loved the film. I would highly recommend this movie as a great holiday film to see with the entire family.

Great for kids [of all ages]

I have kids 2, 4, and 6 years old. 6 YO loved it, younger ones liked it at first but it was a little too long for them to sustain attention.

Very bright colors, fun characters, good plotline that kids can follow. Happy ending. Cyberbugs are a little bit intense for very small kids, but tolerable.

Lots of Fun For The Video Gamers.

The story follows the basic hero formula. The animation is good, the jokes for all ages. There's something here for everyone. Definitely a kid-safe family outing. Overall, it's worth the price of a ticket. See it. You'll be glad you did.

    Wreck it Ralph

Wonderful. Grampy and Grammy (me) enjoyed it more than the 6 and 8 year olds...we must be young at heart.....Sometimes I wish the word BORED had never been.

I might have to call this my fav movie of all time

    by

I'm not being sarcastic here. This movie had me and my husband laughing so hard our sides hurt and nearly in tears by the end. It is so well done. So many wonderful old games touched on and incorporated. Beautifully written, a GREAT family movie. You really must see it. I'll be buying it as soon as it comes out to watch over and over with my kids!

    Great!

One of those great animated films that adults will like as much as kids?especially if you remember arcade games from back in the day. Really liked this movie.

    Great Flick

I dont have kids and went to see this with my boyfriend. The movie was great! There were a lot of children in the theater and you could tell they enjoyed it as the only noise they made was laughter.
Go see it. It's great for adults and children.

    Great movie!

    by

I was wonderfully surprised! This movie had a solid plot and the characters where hysterical. There where parts where I laughed till I cried. Best line of the movie? "I love my momma!" There were parodies on other movies such as the Wizard of Oz used, but the way these were incorporated into the movie were very original. Over all it was an awesomely funny movie. I will definitely be adding this one to my movie collection.

    Wreck-it Ralph

This was so cute, saw it with a bunch of middle schoolers for a field trip and it reminded me of Toy Story only in video game form. I would definitely go see it a again.

    Gamers Unite!

If your a fan of either Classic Games or just started, this movie covered all genres and generations of Games. It has been a long time since I sat through a movie that actually sucked me in and made me want to root for all of the characters struggles. Even if you don't like games at all this movie's story alone is enough to want to see it...SO GO SEE IT, NOW!
