Good clean fun for the kids

Nothing special but a good clean movie that we didn't have a problem letting the kids blow off some steam with. Not as entertaining as some for the parents, but then that isn't so bad. It saves us from trying to explain some of the more grown up references that you find in other movies for the benefit of the parents.

    Wreck It Ralph

    by kahern

A really inventive animated film that is a great outing for kids and adults. The storyline is very good - very believable and easy to follow. The movie moves along pretty weill - but it is fairly long (1 hr. 41 minutes) and could have used with a couple of cuts. The action takes place inside several different video games and you can understand that the writers get a little carried away with wanting you to get the feel for each game and its characters but some of the sceens were unnecessary. I was with a 13 year old boy and a 10 year old girl and they got a little restless towards the last third of the film. However, the writing is clever, the characters are enormous fun and the animation stunning.

Fun for old and young alike

If you grew up in the dawn of game arcades, with Q-Bert, Astroids, Pacman and such, you will love the references and nostalgia. Wreck-It Ralph is more of a Donkey Kong character, but fun and lovable. If you are young, it is still a fun-to-watch movie in it's own right.

Great for kids [of all ages]

I have kids 2, 4, and 6 years old. 6 YO loved it, younger ones liked it at first but it was a little too long for them to sustain attention.

Very bright colors, fun characters, good plotline that kids can follow. Happy ending. Cyberbugs are a little bit intense for very small kids, but tolerable.

    Fantastic movie for all ages!

I went to this movie with my grandkids ~ even the 3 year old stayed interested throughout the entire movie!

This movie is not only a must-see, it's also a must-buy ~ My grandkids are definitely going to have this movie in their collections :)

It has a wonderful story, the characters are terrific, and it was interesting to adults as well as children.

    Loved it!

I knew my boys (8 & 4) would love it but my 14 year old daughter loved it as well. They liked it so much they've downloaded the game apps on their iPads.

    Wreck-It Ralph Rocks!

Wreck-It Ralph is a great movie, balancing a great storyline with fun characters, all the while taking generations of game players on a trip down memory lane. The soundtrack was exceptional as it played on the video game theme and incorporated some of the game play styles into the score. I had been looking forward to this movie since the previews came out and it did not disappoint. This is a win for parents and kids, as well as anyone else who ever enjoyed video games! This is a must see (or Must Go, take your pick)!!

"Auntie, That was the bestest movie ever!"

I knew the movie was a hit when my 7 year old niece sprung to her feet in a spontaneous standing ovation at the end of the movie, then danced and boogied until the LAST of the end credits (as in the legalese bits). "Auntie, that was the bestest movie ever!!" She gushed, "When can we buy it?" Need I say more??

    great fun, lots of heart

I always preview kids movies, and I was very impressed with the sense of humor, the graphic design, and style. I was even more impressed with the messages about character, heroism, and kindness. The movie was a blast to watch, and the story delivered a great message.

The four leads were superbly cast, and delivered great performances.

I can't recommend this one highly enough.
