Best Movie In A While (Gory)

    by

I just seen this movie January 3, 2012 at 10pm at night in 3D. Dover, De. It was very gory and worth the money. I would suggest this to anyone that loves gory movies. The theather was packed since it was the first time showing and everyone was talking about it, in the middle of the movie like 7 people said "yo I'm tweeting this , movie is insane, and its awesome". After the movie everyone was saying what a great movie. :) a must see. Make sire you watch in in 3D to get the full experience.

    The movie is OKAY

This Texas Chainsaw was okay but go on matinee time to save yourself from paying $13.50 the movie was only good towards the end. The Texas Chainsaw with Jessica Biel is the best one. If you are expecting alot from this one then dont go. overall i will give it an 4.5 out of 10.

If you are a fan of real horror movies, then this is a must. Forget what you think you know about texas chainsaw massacre from the past. This movie is great and brings out the scare in all. Story line was by far the best of any seen.

    Texas Chainsaw 3D

    by Glitzy

Very exciting and scary. Had me at the edge of my seat. I don't usually like to see these type of movies but I went with my family and felt some comfort knowing they were with me. They will be going back to see it again but not me. I think I'll stay home. Too creepy!

    Seriously?

I'm a HUGE horror fan who likes all types of movies in the genre. But seriously, come on! Anyone who liked this is just ridiculous. I don't get how it beat out movies like Django (which is AMAZEBALLS by the way). The fact that it made that much money to prompt the studio to think about a sequel is laughable. Awful plot, awful acting, the 3D was not at all impressive. I think there was one or two times it looked like the chainsaw was coming at your face, but that's it. Without ruining it, they totally forgot about a character at the end. Never said what happened to the character, and not in an on purpose sort of way either. Please save your money, this movie is just plain awful. Everyone said this was so gory too. Did I see the wrong movie? There was more blood in the other reboots of the film, and realistic looking blood at that. There wasn't any sort of torture like in the other versions either. Not scary or gory at all!

    Eh.

I rate this a D. I like that it picks up where the original left off and brings us forward. Beyond that not a lot to cheer about. They story follows the typical formula of getting some attractive young people together and picking them off. The girls are HOT and the guys good looking but beyond that not much to see here. Some characters are here just to over-act it seems (The Mayor and one way too macho cop) Wait for Redbox and save yourself some money.

    Waste of my time

To many inconsistencies, like who was that dead woman in the house? What happened to the cop son at the end of movie? And why was that creep killer a victim? Movie all over the place.....hated it

Terrific 3D visuals and a ridiculous last half hour make for a not bad TC3D.

I wasn't expecting much going into the film, but the prologue was quite striking with it's 3D transfer of highlights from the 1974 original (sometimes I thought I was looking at original footage, sometimes modern reenactments--I wasn't really sure). There's an hour of pretty gory, lifeless storytelling about four people travelling to Newt, Texas to reclaim the legacy of the heroine, but the last hour is the stuff of cult movie legend. Some opportunities for spectacular 3D effects are missed, but overall, the 3D is pretty good and worth the extra cash. Overall, it's an inconsistent film of highs and lows: at it's worst, it's mind-numbingly dull; at it's best it's very everything you want from a horror film.

    The Darkside Looks Brighter

    by Nutt32

With all the prequels and different versions that have came out this one was quite good. I was expecting to be let down but they did a real good job of taking you back to the original movie. At first people in the theatre thought it was going to be shot in that old style of cinematography but it made a smooth transition into the sharp detail and quality of movies today we have come to expect. This movie had a good story and was actually somewhat believeable. I have to give the makers of this movie a hand. They did a good job and instead of ruining an already great movie franchise they added what is sure to be a classic. Also if you see this movie in 3D it is pretty cool. I am a fan of horror and I really enjoyed wathing this. If you are in the mood to have your girl grab your arm every few minutes then this is a must see. I loved it. The only reason I didn't rate it is a must go is becuase I save that for the movies that have no comparison in quaility.

I loved this movie and I loved how they kept it to the original story. This was the first time I used Fandango on my smart phone. I will be using this app every time I go to the movies from now on.

Absolutely the worst horror movie due to Rob Zombie

Michael Bay owes us all our money back. The story is completely non-existent, the movie only spends a half hour on the random killing then wastes our time with a weird "Leather Face is a victim" story line AND there is an entire town in Texas where there is not a single decent person! Then there is the fact that this "sequel" completely undoes the first two movies. It dumps all story lines set up by the fantastic reboot and the Prequel. The the heck?? Why, Michael Bay? This is a complete waste of money, time and effort. There is no redeemable quality to this movie. Thanks Rob Zombie. You killed Halloween with your "Michael's the victim" crap. Freddy was ruined by "Oh my, he was innocent' crap. And now this? At least they just made another Friday the 13th instead of another guilt trip movie. Such a shame.
