    Kind of a let down......

    I was so exited to see this movie and looked forward to it for months. Saw it opening day. It started out great using flashbacks from the original 1974 movie which was brilliant. I also really liked the lead actress playing Heather. However, the new Leather Face did not seem near as scary as any of the other ones for some reason. It had a good story but there were too many unintentional laughs.....the van wreck anyone??? The movie made law enforcement look like an absolute joke! Oh there is a serial
    killer on the loose so let's send one deputy in the house solo and talk as loud as he can while looking for the Chainsaw wielding killer! I wonder how that will work out? It had so much potential but overall was corny. I read where the producers want to make a series similar to the Saw franchise so maybe part two will be better! They are laying the ground work for a sequel....I will see it with a glimmer of hope that they get better.
