    Worthy

    by

If you are a fan of real horror movies, then this is a must. Forget what you think you know about texas chainsaw massacre from the past. This movie is great and brings out the scare in all. Story line was by far the best of any seen.

    Surprisingly not terrible

    by jhs39

3D sequel to Texas Chainsaw (the 1974 original) is a little slow to get going but surprisingly fun once it does. The movie comes up with a fairly novel way to continue the story, has some decent gore and, most surprisingly, comes up with some good villains who aren't Leatherface. (Leatherface in this go round is as homicidal as ever but he's portrayed as a perpetually angry, mentally retarded 8 year old in a 6 foot 5 body, so he's slightly more sympathetic than in previous incarnations). This definitely isn't a classic but it's a respectable sequel to the Tobe Hooper original and easily the best movie in the franchise since part 2.

Best Movie In A While (Gory)

    by

I just seen this movie January 3, 2012 at 10pm at night in 3D. Dover, De. It was very gory and worth the money. I would suggest this to anyone that loves gory movies. The theather was packed since it was the first time showing and everyone was talking about it, in the middle of the movie like 7 people said "yo I'm tweeting this , movie is insane, and its awesome". After the movie everyone was saying what a great movie. :) a must see. Make sire you watch in in 3D to get the full experience.

    No Bueno

    by

I only saw this movie to see Trey Songz's acting debut. He did just okay but the script as a whole was terrible. The movie didn't have enough of a story line. The beginning was also weird. I almost walked out in the first 5 minutes. I would recommend seeing this movie at your nearest $1 theater in a few weeks. We also laughed more than anything so if you want a real horror flick don't see it. The 3d effect was also low. I gues it's just another way to raise the price.

    The movie is OKAY

This Texas Chainsaw was okay but go on matinee time to save yourself from paying $13.50 the movie was only good towards the end. The Texas Chainsaw with Jessica Biel is the best one. If you are expecting alot from this one then dont go. overall i will give it an 4.5 out of 10.

    Just another sequel

its always good to see another chapter in an iconic franchise, and even though we fans always hope that this one will be a triumphant return to the horror genre, we come to expect nothing more than the same'ole same'ole with only a few exciting twists here and there...that is what you get with this movie. its good to see it, but theres nothing great about it. the story twist is appreciated, but isnt delivered in the best way. it seems as though most of the audience was looking forward to seeing r&b singer, Trey Songz in his first major film debut...he did good i must say (i was surprised), but if eye candy is the major encouragement behind people coming to see your horror movie, im not sure if that is a great thing. hmmm

Texas Chainsaw 3D. I was honestly expecting more gore...but truly this was more about a story than anything else. Heather, the cousin of our beloved Leatherface found her true family and feels for him and understands whats going on in his head. I truly hope there is another one showing their relationship. Fantastic movie. A MUST BUY when it comes out on DVD/Blu-Ray.

    LEATHERFACE!

So, Texas Chainsaw 3D. If you're an absolute TCM fanatic this film is a MUST SEE for the opening alone. I also have to add that the film is worth it if only for the cameos from the original. Other than that it's a nice stand-alone horror movie. This incarnation of Leatherface is the closest to the original than in any other TCM remake/spinoff, and even sports the original tie! There are a few good scares, but I'd like someone to explain how a character that was a baby in 1974 is so young in 2012. That's the only problem I had with this picture....
Would I see it again? Yes, but I think I can wait until a home viewing.

    Texas Chainsaw 3D

    by Glitzy

Very exciting and scary. Had me at the edge of my seat. I don't usually like to see these type of movies but I went with my family and felt some comfort knowing they were with me. They will be going back to see it again but not me. I think I'll stay home. Too creepy!

    Chain yawn more like it

I love the original and sequel and really liked the remake. The rest I could take or leave. The only reason I entertained the thought of watching this one was for the 3D. There were a couple good scenes of 3D, but not enough to make me want to give this a positive review. None of the characters were likable. I did like how it picked up right after the original. I also liked the cameos from Gunnar and Bill from the originals. The story was so-so though. Long story short, I don't think I'd purchase this when it comes out even if it was on sale cheap. As a long time Chainsaw fan, this didn't impress me. But this is only my opinion. See it if you want, just keep your expectations low.

    No, no, no.

If you can get passed the terrible acting, you might find the story line at least a little interesting. Of course, since it's a horror film, there has to be the pointless flusey female character that contributes absolutely nothing to the story line. If this movie were to come out in the 80s, then maybe it would've gotten better reviews. But the bar for horror films is a bit higher these days and this movie made a pathetic and failed attempt to reach that bar. They should've dropped this concept after Jessica Biel's version. I actually enjoyed that one. There was no time for character development, just a bunch of screaming. Please save your money.

    less 3D disappointed

    by

I was really disappointed because this movie suppose to have 3D all the way, it was less 3D than I expected. Kinda went boring, It suppose to scare me like the other Chainsaw massacre I've seen. so far this movie really wasn't that good
