    Good, fast paced movie

    You don't have to have seen the earlier movies to enjoy this one...I did not and thought it was great and had plenty of "edge of your seat" excitement.

    Very enjoyable movie

    This movie was just as I expected it. Storywise is pretty lame but the action sequences and visual effects, espcially in 3D was very good. Ofcourse seeing Milla Jovovich in 3D was a definite bonus. If are a fan of the Resident Evil movies then this sequel will not disappoint you. Its one of those fun movies to watch.

    Resident Evil: Retibution falls short

    If all you wanted was flashy action and special effects then go see this movie! Overall I was entertained and I did like the way they wrapped things up so we understand the bigger picture. The acting was terrible and I kind of want to blame it on the poor dialogue. On a scale of 1 - 10 I would give this movie a solid 5.

    Boring

    Even though they are cheesy, I find the Resident Evil movies fun to watch. Retribution is a stinker. I was bored through the vast majority of the movie. The visuals were nice but even the fight scenes had me wanting a power nap.

    Fifth time's the last time.

    Another lackluster attempt at what could havebeen great. Clunky plot, flat characters, and piss-poor acting. The movie ends up being twenty minutes longer than it needs to be, because they slow down all the action. And all the action is pointless, more filler than normal exposition. Characters could have built on-screen relationships, but instead they just recap everything that has already happened. Look, I'm an adult, and spoon-feeding me plot in a movie as simple as this is flat-out insulting. The lazy acting belied lazy writing. As far as a video game-based movie goes, they had so much rich material to work with, but instead of picking and choosing with care the elements that would tell the best story, and please the fans of the original material, thus raking in MORE money for the studios (and paving the way for better sequels), the director just threw it ALL in a blender and said, "SHUT UP AND DRINK IT!" This is the very last time I will spend money on this franchise. Unbelievable.

    Resident evil: retribution

    Everybody need to shut up about resident evil; they have tried their best of making the movie a little more exciting. So, a few people died and Alice didn't, so what? Alice is the main character of this thing and the movie is not ruined, it was changed into something action-packed which I love. So, if you can't appreciate the hardwork they do to make that movie awesome, you can keep your negative comments to yourself instead of the Internet. Peace out!

    Yikes! Evil took half their budget

    Wow...not at all the quality we were expecting from a Resident Evil. movie. It looked like half or more of their budget got downsized. Wooden, disappointing, predictable. What a shame! The video game screen looks better than the effects in this movie. The earlier movies were much better.

    Great, but NOT the best

    Honestly, the movie was okay......The movie hinted at the main charavter would be shown that she was living a dream or something, but it just endeed up that she would go THROUGH a bunch of CGI worlds...I think they were trying to get the series in a new fresher direction...And the new chacters, weren't explained at all...I know the backstory for the new characters, but a newly watching viewer would be asking, who is this....The movie was okay, but not the best....Short and sweet review...The action scenes were AWESOME...The CGI was great as well...No nudity, of course....

    I would watch it again, but I wish I wouldn't have been told things by the trailer that aren't happening in the movie.......

    Video Game v. Movie…Spoiler Alert

    Watching the movie was like playing the video game, so, if you were intending on spending $60.00 for the game, spend $15.00 to watch the movie and you will get your fix. I thought the movie was going to be one thing and it ending up being a little bit of a bore. It was a decent movie but I could have waited for it to come to dvd. When the next one comes out, I am hesitant as to whether or not I want to take the time to entertain the movie before it arrives to dvd.

    It was laughable, terrible, horrible, boring, crap....it's just not worth a look.

    I love horror movies and I was hoping it would be interesting at the very least.

    A really good sequel.

    I'm more of a fan of the Resident Evil games and I didn't get into the films until 2010 with Resident Evil: Afterlife 3D which was amazing. Anyway this movie is an awesome sequel to it's predecessor and it keeps me entertained. I never saw it in 3D like I did the last one but It is still highly worth seeing in 2D. The actor who plays Leon S. Kennedy does a phenomenal job portraying my favorite character from the games and the lovely Sienna Guillory does a perfect job of playing Jill Valentine once again (last seen in Resident Evil: Apocalypse). Go see the movie and don't listen to fans of the game who can't open their minds.

    A lot better than expected.

    The only movies that I really liked from these series were the first two. I was pleasantly surprised that this movie was really on-par with those movies. Action sequences were really good, the fighting choreography was amazing, but the acting was not as natural as the first two movies.

    With the exception of original cast members from the other films, the newcomers were moving and speaking like they wanted to copy their video game counterparts. It was very painful to hear them talk. There was another cheesy part, but I don't want to spoil it for other people. Let's just say it happens in Moscow.

    The CG, make-up, costumes were very well done. I didn't see it in 3D, so I can't vouch for how good/bad it is.

    This was a very entertaining movie, so if you liked the first two RE's, then this movie is for you.
