    Weak Storyline

    The storyline was not strong enough to support frequent lulls in between the action. It was boring unless there were fight scenes with the zombies or other biohazard monster creations, and there were only a few of those. There were more "human" fight scenes than with the biohazards. The actors were horrible too, but that's nothing new for this series. For all the special effects and obvious increased budget over the years, I expected a more engaging storyline to keep interest. Milla still looks awesome and kicks butt, so I gave it a So-So mainly for that.

    Action packed...

    I enjoyed this one, just as much as the previous ones. It was action packed, gave the normal Resident Evil story-line, and kept the scenes moving along without a lot of wasted dialogue in between.

    Terrible!

    No plot! All special effects. Obviously produced with the 3-D dollars in mind and nothing else.
    Save your money.

    I would normally give a brief synopsis, but the movie lacked anything even closely resembling a story. It just jumped from scene to scene with no segue. None of it made any sense, despite the huge amount of ham handed exposition and all of the "As you know, Bob," dialogue. And the lines were delivered in the most lackluster manner I've ever seen in a film. Milla is a pleasure to watch, no matter what she's doing, but there is absolutely nothing else work seeing in this CG dominated video game excuse for a movie.

    Evil goes Global

    It was entertaining but not as good as the first 2. Not enough risk, blood and body parts of zombies being thrown around. There were only a couple of hot men that were fighting with her the whole time, i know they die but jeez....

    Not Impressed

    The Resident Evil franchise has had it's ups and downs, but number five is a new low. Worse, in my opinion, than Resident Evil Extinction, Retribution is one-hour and thirty minutes of hardcore bull-crap followed by five minutes of actual story that basically only sets up Resident Evil 6. I'm a Milla fan, and don't get me wrong; she still kicks ass, but her involvement in this film is disappointing. Perhaps the franchise will get back on track with 6.

    Resident evil: retribution

    Everybody need to shut up about resident evil; they have tried their best of making the movie a little more exciting. So, a few people died and Alice didn't, so what? Alice is the main character of this thing and the movie is not ruined, it was changed into something action-packed which I love. So, if you can't appreciate the hardwork they do to make that movie awesome, you can keep your negative comments to yourself instead of the Internet. Peace out!

    This movie reminded me of how I felt when I saw Alien 3 after watching Aliens... Why? They had a good story going why F it all up & wack it all out... I like the series but this one had to be the worst of the bunch & now I feel it will die... to bad...

    A lot better than expected.

    The only movies that I really liked from these series were the first two. I was pleasantly surprised that this movie was really on-par with those movies. Action sequences were really good, the fighting choreography was amazing, but the acting was not as natural as the first two movies.

    With the exception of original cast members from the other films, the newcomers were moving and speaking like they wanted to copy their video game counterparts. It was very painful to hear them talk. There was another cheesy part, but I don't want to spoil it for other people. Let's just say it happens in Moscow.

    The CG, make-up, costumes were very well done. I didn't see it in 3D, so I can't vouch for how good/bad it is.

    This was a very entertaining movie, so if you liked the first two RE's, then this movie is for you.

    VOTE FOR WORSE MOVIE EVER!

    I grew up in what many consider the prime-time of movie making . I saw STAR WARS ,E.T. INDIANA , ROBO-COP , TERMINATOR . RAMBO , ROCKY . I know these were not all masterpieces of the film world. BUT Damn , at least try to put at least 2 weeks of work into it . This was either made up on the spot, or someone was high! I know i could make a movie better than this crap. Plot sucked , the intro to recap the last 4 movies sucked, It was a worse video game movie than the video game movie cut scenes. I was actually mad at myself for staying for the whole think , like i was violated and too scared to tell anyone. I been trying to figure what was the last movie that was this bad. I can't remember. It was JARJAR BINKS bad ! The memory will never go away EVER!

    Resident Evil Retribution

    I expected more, the film was in my opinion average. Acting was Sci-Fi- B movie standard and I suspect that was because of how the lines were written. Suggest PG 13 because of violence.

    Like the last, disjointed, over-choreographed, mediocre acting

    I loved the first three RE movies. The stories were good, the action flowed, the acting was pretty darned good. The last two are simply...un-memorable. I can barely remember the one before this one, and I'm sure in a month or two this one will slip into obscurity right along with it. So disappointed.

    The series keeps going!

    It's a non-stop action, I left the theater thinking that the ending was just the middle of the movie. That's how a movie should be, but it does leave you at a cliff hanger and begging for more..

    Good

    It's a hero movie who just never spit blood.

    Anyway, I really love the fighting scene of the protagonist and her outfit. :) It's like matrix.
