    Just horrible

    I think they made 1 too many. The last film was stretching it, but this was just plain bad. There is a lot of action which saved it from "oh-no".

    If u like Resident Evil this is 4 U

    To be honest I didn't watch the last one because the trailer looked corny. ONCE I SAW MICHELLE RODRIGUEZ was back! So was I. I was fangirling left and right. I really liked it. I still think the 1st was the best but the all around ass-kicking can't be beat. Milla looks great I don't know how she does it.... Some of the line delivery (especially by Jill) seemed like she was reading off of a card, dry and unnatural. Michelle made up for it though *_*

    Fine if you want the same story approach....

    A continuing saga that lends itself to more violence but less story.. although the last scene should serve as an entry point for a good story to finally end this series.... lets see what they do with it.

    Action was great...but the plot was meh...

    This movie was entertaining. A nice little tie-in at the beginning if you haven't seen the other films so you can get an idea and get up to speed. The action sequences were awesome. And I love to see girls kicking butt! The plot however was...barely there. Still some holes in my opinion...and yes I have seen the other movies and played the video games. Overall I was entertained but I would not pay the evening prices to see the movie...a definite matinee.

    Seeing it was EVIL

    I own every Resident Evil DVD and game and watch these movies every time they come on TV. I could not wait for this movie to hit the big screen and I was there at the first showing and I was so disappointed I wanted to cry. The story line was so corny with the stupid punch lines I actually got up in the middle of the movie to get popcorn and a drink hoping that would help me finish this. If your a die hard RE fan then you have to see this on the big screen but if your on the fence about this series then wait for the DVD. What the hell were they thinking???

    Really nothing news, although a bit better than the last one.
    They seem to have forsaken story and characters treatment and just going for fight scenes.
    Fine if that is what you are looking for

    Alice in Resident Evil Wonderland

    Let me tell you about these Resident Evil films: It's like "Alice in Resident Evil Wonderland". This time Alice is back for the fifth installment based of the popular video games. Leaving off where the fourth film "Afterlife" ends, Alice finds herself with new friends and old enemies as she fights the Undead and mutant monsters once again. It has more action and a developing story, but doesn't have a lot of words, which the ACTION sort of defines the movie itself. For the fans who have played the games, you'll see new characters you haven't seen yet until now: Barry Burton, Ada Wong, and Leon S. Kennedy make their first appearance. Going from Tokyo, Moscow, New York City, and Washington D.C., Alice and the others meet up to face off the Red Queen and the now brainwashed Jill Valentine who has a scarab implanted on her. It's a battle to the end which give you answers that will lead to a possible sixth and FINAL chapter in the popular movie franchise.

    In the first 10 minutes of the movie, you knew what the whole thing was going to be about. It was too much like watching someone play a video game -- and watching someone play is boring....and this movie, although slightly entertaining, was not what I expected.

    No plot, bad characters and development, bad banter/conversation.

    I won't give anything away, because there isn't really anything to give away. There's no plot. And I don't mean it was like "Bambi" no plot, I mean it was "like watching paint dry on a wall" no plot.
    If you played the video games, you will be the most disappointed in this movie over all the others. I thought 4 was just so-so, but it made 4 look like a masterpiece.
    About 25 minutes in I couldn't stop thinking "When are they going to reveal what the plot is?" Then at 40 minutes in I realized "Never..." and all I could think then is "When will it end?".
    -1000 out of 10. Don't go see it in theater; I would advise not to see it ever, but if you have to, red box it.

    worst one yet

    I'm always interested in seeing where the story develops but this one is the worst one yet. Sure there is plenty of fighting and explosions but that isn't enough to carry the movie. I found myself checking the time over and over during the movie….I think I was first out of the theatre once it was all over.

    Resident Evil is back at it again!

    For all you zombie fans out there, go check out "Resident Evil:Retribution" now! The first 10-15 minutes might have you somewhat confused, but as the movie goes on and the plot thickens, all the questions you might have are answered. Milla Jovovich plays the role of Alice once again, along for the ride are Sienna Guillory (Jill Valentine), Michelle Rodriguez (Rain), Aryana Engineer (Becky), Bingbing Li (Ada Wong), Boris Kodjoe (Luther West), Johann Urb (Leon S. Kennedy), Robin Kasyanov (Sergei), Kevin Durand (Brry Burton), Colin Salmon (One), Oded Fehr (Todd/Carlos) and Shawn Roberts (Albert Wesker). The earth is on the brink of war, and Alice and her friends must stop the Umbrella Corporation once and for all. Will they be able to do it? Tons of zombie kills which will make everyone happy! Can't wait to see the 6th movie out in the future!

    Resident Evil - Retribution

    Action-packed from start to finish. Solid storyline, and good effects. Umbrella Corp is still evil and Alice, played by Milla Jovovich, is still saving the day against their bio-terrorism. Though the other characters still have to fill her memory gaps, she fights like a demon. Michelle Rodriguez is worth going to see, but Sienna Guillory for all her beauty couldn't act. Li Bingbing made some powerful moves, but still needs to work on her acting as well.

    Horrible....

    Save your money for something better. This was bad....too much CGI and 3D effects, not enough plot/storyline. I literally cringed every time I heard Jill Valentine speak. That actress was horrible in this movie. I don't know if the director told her to move and act like that. Wait for this to come out on HBO. And for Pete's sake, JUST STOP MAKING RESIDENT EVIL MOVIES!!!!

    ResidentEvil Retribution

    I like it it was "good" just like the others im a big ResidentEvil FAN.
    You should go and see it for your self. My kids went with me and they love. They said that they can't wait for the NEXT part ; )
