    Could have been better....

    So this whole Rsident Evil has gotten a little out of hand. RE-Afterlife was at most entertaining. I would say the same for this one. There are some really cool scenes and effects. BUT, Always the but, The music we associate with the movie is no longer there and the new music left a little to be desired and the timing was bad. The consistancy was there, but the movie doesn't feel like the first 3. If you are a Resident Evil fan sure go see it. If you are not, you might be disappointed.

    Intense

    I was never really into Resident Evil before but now i definately am. Retribution packs a punch right from the start and then plains so smooth to the climax. The cinematograpy good+ and the story was great, a must go!

    It is very "Resident Evil"

    Had some very good spooks in it (that would probably look better in 3D) but in general the movie was good and it did follow 100% the Resident Evil style. The only thing that I did not like was the "russian zombies" (don't want to spoil).

    no plot

    it has the same old "oh i'm stuck in an umbrella installation, i must get out" theme. i would had like to have seen more of a story line. also the red queen popping up in the middle of the screen to say i'm after you type lines could have been cut out. the use of clones to fight and what not was interesting but still this is a zombie movie that seemed to have very little zombie fights. the action was awesome tho!

    On par with the series

    Really enjoyed this installment! It was really well done and explained an important part of the series, but it seemed more of a side story when all said and done. The new biological weapons were really cool. We did not see it in 3D, but I imagine from all the scenes that looked as if they catered to the 3D aspect, it was probably very good in 3D. Alice is and always will be a bad***, which is why I love this series so much. The ending is a typical Resident Evil ending, so be ready. Very well done and use of previous characters in the series. Definitely worth seeing in the theater!

    Was great nothing wrong with it just that it seemed to be a long movie clip to get you worked up for what maybe coming next. I was kind of let down even though it was good.

    You Have Failed Me for the Last Time

    Loved the first. Liked 2 and 3. 4 and 5 left me cold. This reminded me of Ultraviolet than Resident Evil. i'm pretty easy to please when it comes to movies. i can usually look past poor dialog, acting or directing. But in this case it detracted so much from everything else that it was hard to enjoy the normally fun stuff.

    Milla, if you're going to do RE6, have someone else write and direct it.

    Great action

    At this point I wouldn't be surprised what they come out with next. A lot of characters from the series. That was cool. But the storyline made no sense.

    Yikes! Evil took half their budget

    Wow...not at all the quality we were expecting from a Resident Evil. movie. It looked like half or more of their budget got downsized. Wooden, disappointing, predictable. What a shame! The video game screen looks better than the effects in this movie. The earlier movies were much better.

    Resident Evil My Review

    Don't waste your time wait for DVD bootleg. Don't pay extra money for this film (3D, IMAX). It's like what in the world the creators was thinking when they put this movie out. If another is to be made they better get help from Steven Spielberg. This movie just killed the franchise and will be in and out the movie theaters very quick. Through out the whole movie you are going to be like what is this. Fights scenes could have been a lot better and better story.

    Resident Evil

    The CGI and set designs are great. The opening sequence with the credits was entertaining; but that's where it all ends. The fight scenes are sadly laughable. The story is weak and the characters have no sense of being. Everything seems out of touch and scattered about. To me it was one of those where the left hand doesn't know what the right ones doing. I would say save your money and rent it when it comes out on DVD. Unfortunately there will be another one coming down the pipe in the near future. I don't know who to blame here, the director, screenwriter, editor or just everyone involved in making this film.

    Ugh... Not Good

    I'm a huge Sci-Fi fan, and I've enjoyed the previous Resident Evil movies. This one is not good. It's borderline silly with no real plot other than shoot and kill things. Don't pay to see it. Wait until it comes out on tv for free.

    the movie was ok not a best of all time but when you first star watching you be like like this **** suck but wait the action comes guns fight all that dont worry about the movie critics say they never made a move or not to my little knowlege ***&^ um 7 to 8 stars
