    Love it

    it was great, cool fights (not a fan of slow motion yet i loved it.) Leon and Ada moments made me squeak and laugh. YOU MUST SEE IT

    Fifth time's the last time.

    Another lackluster attempt at what could havebeen great. Clunky plot, flat characters, and piss-poor acting. The movie ends up being twenty minutes longer than it needs to be, because they slow down all the action. And all the action is pointless, more filler than normal exposition. Characters could have built on-screen relationships, but instead they just recap everything that has already happened. Look, I'm an adult, and spoon-feeding me plot in a movie as simple as this is flat-out insulting. The lazy acting belied lazy writing. As far as a video game-based movie goes, they had so much rich material to work with, but instead of picking and choosing with care the elements that would tell the best story, and please the fans of the original material, thus raking in MORE money for the studios (and paving the way for better sequels), the director just threw it ALL in a blender and said, "SHUT UP AND DRINK IT!" This is the very last time I will spend money on this franchise. Unbelievable.

    I needed a story mode, Im a fan of resident evil, me and my husband even play the game and after watching this tonight I feel like i play the game all over again but gotta wait until the next one to come out to finish the game.

    Well the Resident Evil series was good

    Well it was good until this came out. As a fan of this series, all I can say is that when it ended, I looked to the other people and said "Oh cool, the previews are finally over. Is the movie going to start now??"

    Cut the first 35 minutes, rewrite the middle and make the movie start with the last 5 minutes? That might have been better.

    Dont go, otherwise you'll just be:

    Upset you just spent the money when you could have watched something else.
    Left wondering how you can get back 2 hours of your life you wasted
    Wondering why the movie industry doesnt give refunds for producing such a lame movie.

    Video Game v. Movie…Spoiler Alert

    Watching the movie was like playing the video game, so, if you were intending on spending $60.00 for the game, spend $15.00 to watch the movie and you will get your fix. I thought the movie was going to be one thing and it ending up being a little bit of a bore. It was a decent movie but I could have waited for it to come to dvd. When the next one comes out, I am hesitant as to whether or not I want to take the time to entertain the movie before it arrives to dvd.

    I was disappointed by the fact that the previous characters that were brought back had no personality and there was very little interaction between Alice and them.

    I was struck with the fact that the daughter was deaf, but nothing was really done with that situation.

    I was also disappointed that the same 'creatures' from previous movies was all they could come up with for this movie.

    How did the Umbrella Corporation teach zombies to wear uniforms and shoot guns?

    I was happy to see kick *** Alice ( love her), but the plausability (even in horror) was just not there.

    It was the best since the first film...

    For me, that is how I felt about this movie. I was not a game player, and have seen all the films as a storyling, but this movie "feels" like I imagine the video game feels. Taking place almost entirely in an Umbrella Corp. facility, it plays out just like a level in the game. The action is non-stop, the characters are familiar and the storyline is a good one - they wrap up some hanging threads and leave you wanting more. I recommend seeing it in the theatre, the beginning redux is to die for. Overall fun, a good length with no wasted time, and a very fine way of leaving you with a satisfaction that other films do not. SEE IT!

    Boring

    Even though they are cheesy, I find the Resident Evil movies fun to watch. Retribution is a stinker. I was bored through the vast majority of the movie. The visuals were nice but even the fight scenes had me wanting a power nap.

    On par with the series

    Really enjoyed this installment! It was really well done and explained an important part of the series, but it seemed more of a side story when all said and done. The new biological weapons were really cool. We did not see it in 3D, but I imagine from all the scenes that looked as if they catered to the 3D aspect, it was probably very good in 3D. Alice is and always will be a bad***, which is why I love this series so much. The ending is a typical Resident Evil ending, so be ready. Very well done and use of previous characters in the series. Definitely worth seeing in the theater!

    I have to say overall, if you enjoyed the previous movies...you will enjoy this one too....it is Alice doing what Alice does best...fun fighting and GREAT to see all the other cast members again. Overall I say a definate GO

    Pretty Awesome

    I love how actionie the movie was. Definitely a Resident Evil Collectible. The female actress were beautiful as much as they are graceful at playing their roles. Can't wait until Resident Evil 6. Scale through 1-10 its a hard 9.

    I'm really surprised that this movie isn't getting better ratings. I saw it last weekend and I LOVED it. I truly think it has been one of the best ones so far, and I hope they make another. It was awesome that they brought some of the more familiar video game characters into this movie, i.e. Ada Wong, Barry Burton, and Leon S. Kennedy.
    I couldn't help but laugh when I saw Leon on the screen for the first time. The jacket(if you played RE4, you'll know what I mean) was a nice touch.
    I would totally see this movie again. Great acting too!
