    not worth it

I watched every film in the series before walking myself to the theatre to see this. I purposely wanted to give this a good four-movie review. I was looking forward to it very much. And then, I came to the awful realization that this latest release in the Bourne franchise is not so good at all. Maybe even leaning towards bad.
I can't be too committal on my disappointment because I have to admit some scenes where good and I was intrigued. But I couldn't help to feel that this thing wasn't peaking. Am I the only one feeling like this? The guy is just looking to fix his meds. The plot gets going, every one seems super important in their roles, there is a lot of following and a lot of killing, but the thread of the story... not there, right?
I reached the end of the film literally asking myself, this can't be it? Is it? Wait! it is!

    Awesome Action!!

    by

You get what you expect from a Bourne movie! The first half is unconventionally slow, the story trying to tie in to the rest of the franchise. Otherwise a good movie, Renner try's hard to do justice to the character.

    Fast action

Movie is not as good as the other Bourne movies. But, the movie keep you engaged till the end.
Very fast action, didn't realize how fast the time went.

    The Bourne legacy

    by Lady50

I like the movie, however, it seems to be a continuation or possibly a series starring a different Bourne (#5). Can't wait for the legacy to continue. I thought the acting and the action was on point.

    Not Bourne at all.. disappointed

The movie was okay.. Nothing like the Bourne Identity versions. The movie draged on and the scenes about the pills seemed like they needed to be on drugs all the time to function? not a Bourne version at all... The fighting and action scenes were good but overall i was not impressed with the movie and without ruining the ending.. I felt like That's It?

    Good Movie

BL - -delivers! We really enjoyed the movie. It does keep you on your toes - so pay attention. Not as much action as I thought, but still great plot. Looking forward to seeing what's next!

    Worth seeing

A little slow to start mostly because they had to tie it in with Bourne Ultimatum. Acting was good. Thought they made it too much about the doctor though. Could have been a bit more action but there is a good motorcycle chase scene at the end. Jeremy Renner and Edward Norton both did a good job but Norton's character could have been made stronger. Renner was good. Hoping it does well so they will make another one, rumor has it that if they do it wiill have both Aaron Cross and Jason Bourne in it :)

    The Bourne Legacy

The Bourne Legacy was an OK movie. Jeremy Renner was great and it had some cool action scenes but beyond that there wasn't much to it. If it weren't for the constant and blatant references to Jason Bourne (just to remind you you're watching a Bourne movie) you could've called this movie anything else and it wouldn't changed practically anything. It isn't nearly as clever or emotionally engaging as Matt Damon's films were. So all in all it is worth a watch but you won't be missing anything if you skip it.

    The Bourne Legacy Review

Action packed from the very beginning to the end. Nothing really resolved with the film other than to kill and/or maime NUMEROUS bad guys!! It is obvious that the series willl continue with another sequel.

    Not recommended for young children.

    Boring Washington Bureacracy

About 45 minutes into the film, I wondered 'where's the action'? It literally came during the last 10 minutes of the film. There were ongoing clips from the Jason Bourne trilogy which only suggested the movie was looking for something to carry it to the audience. A true Bourne fan didn't need to have the flashbacks....a little insulting to true fans.

    Same as the Old Song

First of all, I liked the movie. Having said that, if you saw the first 3 then this one will be no different. Same plot.....rogue agent can't be apprehended by CIA officials, so they send a super-assasin to take care of Bourne, I mean Renner. A big chase ensues, and somehow they kill the assasin and get away.
I can;t blame the producers, though, if you have a winning formula, people will pay to see it.
Renner is very beleivable, and likable as Bourne's replacement ( I can't think of his on air name).

    The Bourne Legacy

What a terrible insult to the Bourne trilogy! This might have been a grade B movie if it was unconnected with the Bourne films. By living off the Matt Damon/Jason Bourne reputation for great plots, superb acting, high adventure, they got me into the theatre on opening day only to be thoroughly disappointed. Mr. Renner's acting skills are highly commendable, but the film writing was horrible. They put in parts irrelevant to the story line, e.g. Who cares that the recruiter raised his IQ 12 points to meet the Army minimum? Explain the relevance of the testimony before the Senate panel and the press photographers with Pam Lundy. Taken as a whole, this picture was a cheap enticement to come to the sequels to make sense of this picture. Go see something else - just about anything would be better than this. What a disappointment!

    Bourne Legacy

Story was a little hard to follow. Lots of things not explained. Jeremy Renner will make a perfect replacement for Matt Damon. Action-packed. Chase scene was worth the price of admisison.

    Good Bourne

I enjoyed the movie. The setup was a little long and wordy as the other participants set the stage for what was happening and why, but all in all it was a good follow up to "The Bourne" trilogy.

Cinematography was breathing taking. The beginning scenes out in the open were more interesting than the story.

I would recommend this movie more for adults and fans of the Bourne story. I am looking forward to seeing the next installment.

I liked it so much better than I thought I would!

I did not think this was "my kind of movie" but it was really great! I loved the action scenes and I was on the edge of my seat. Awesome!
