    The Bourne story continues

    I was apprehensive about seeing The Bourne Legacy. I am a huge fan of the Robert Ludlum books and did not care to see them exploited. I was wrong--the movie was very faithful to the the Bourne Trilogy. Jeremy Renner was very good, and it was a bonus to see Edward Norton--I hadn't realized he was starring. The requisite Bourne chase scene is alive and well too. The action throughout the movie kept me tense the whole time. Go see Bourne Legacy!

    Bourne Legacy

    I was worried that I wouldn't be able to get into the movie because Matt Damon would not be
    starring in it, but as the movie progressed I really started to get into it. Great movie to see on the big screen. Action packed throughout the whole movie.

    bourne legacy

    This is a terrific movie... not as introspective as the Lead character is not as introspective as Jason Bourne,, but good beginning.. hope there are two more to make a trilogy!

    Great movie in a good series

    Movie fit in the series well. I feel te story is about the other operational functions and agents that fit in the jigsaw puzzle of the Bourne series and presented a different perspective. Enjoyed the high intensity Jeremy Renner brought to the screen and liked the girl next door look and feel of Rachal Weiz.

    Always like a Good vs Bad movie.

    Follows the formula with little success

    This Bourne movie spends too much time trying to form a connection with the other Bourne movies. This could've been done in a more efficient manner, allowing more time for the action sequences that work so well in this movie. I would only recommend this movie to big fans of the previous Bournes who feel they need a bit more. Don't expect much, but there is a fairly long chase sequence that's great. The rest of the film is a failed attempt at a Bourne sequel.

    Bourne Legacy

    Good action film. Lots of excitement, good stunts and special effects. Not too well related to other Bourne films but mentioned enough to tie in. Enhanced physical abilities and senses as a special person project plot but not up to the original.

    There's only 1 star in this movie......

    I couldn't wait to see the Bourne Legacy as I've seen them all and loved the action. I'm also a huge Jeremy Renner fan so I was really excited to go. Unfortunately, besides the opening scenes in Alaska, the story-line didn't bring much of anything new to the audience. It was very much the formula of the last Bourne movie, just with different actors who were rather flat.

    Jeremy Renner was his powerful self, but unfortunately was not surrounded by a powerful story.

    I give Jeremy an A - the movie a C

    Bourne Franchise Heads In The Direction Of The Cookie-Cutter Action Flick

    A far less intellectual movie., and lower quality of writing and action. Remember the scene in the first Bourne movie when Jason Bourne is in hand-to-hand combat with a fellow Treadstone operative in Germany? Very nice, detailed, thoughtful action. None of that in Legacy; just very fast, extremely blurry suggestions of fast action with the obligatory pile of bodies lying on the ground as Renner walks away. One extremely long (too long) motorbike chase through the streets of Manila, and what seemed to be some very protracted approaches to dealing with basic situations - really not a great movie.

    The Bourne Legacy

    Movie starts well and develops interest then begins to drag a little. Lots of action maybe too much in the Manila chase scene wears you out then the movie just ends - disappointing. I know they want to build an on going series but come on let us feel we saw a a biginning middle and end of at least a part of the story. Worth seeing but not as riviting as the original Jason Bourne movies.

    Confused...

    The movie was good for the action you expected from a Bourne film...but the plot didn't follow and kind of all around sucked when thinking about the past Bourne's.

    The action was good - the plotline was unremarkable

    Pieces from the previous Bourne movie was spliced in almost recklessly to link it to Bourne, but otherwise it could have been called anything. The action scenes were good, but as for doing anything for the Bourne Legacy.... nope.

    Lots of action

    For Bourne fans, it will make sense, for first timers... not sure....I could have watched another hour at the end.... it moves fast and leaves you waiting for the next episode.

    Bourne Legacy or Bourne get on with it already...

    Movie as good, but trailers were more exciting than the movie itself. Ya, it explained more about the Bourne series, but come on already. Movie was good, but could have been better. Go if you are into super agent gets normal.

    Glad to see the series continuing

    The movie had big shoes to fill and even more of an uphill battle in terms of expectations because they tried to continue the Bourne series without Bourne and have it follow the last Bourne movie simultaneously in terms of plot line. They succeeded. This movie was excellent and retained all of the features that we love about Bourne movies while also having a fresh sense of originality. The plot line in conjunction with the Bourne series was also believable. Go see it!

    bourne legacy

    i would say is a good movie but it didnt give me that thrill watching it like the first three. i feel they try hard to build a great suspense but it didnt work that well. its best to end the bourne franchise.
