    Terrible movie, pass it.

I LOVED all three previous Borne movies and was really looking forward to this new one. I HATED IT!!!!!!! There was about 20 minutes of action and the rest of the time was confusing, choppy, and really bad. Don't waste your money,

    Want to see this again

If you saw the first three this movie makes sense but if you were new to this series it might be confusing. Even so, this movie was great. I did miss Matt Damon but Jeremy Renner is a great actor as well and fits this movie great. I am thinking there is going to be another just because of the way it ends. So maybe Jason Bourne and Aaron Cross will be back together. Maybe to help Pam Landy. Hmm you just never know.

    Go see this!!

    The Bourne Legacy

Movie starts well and develops interest then begins to drag a little. Lots of action maybe too much in the Manila chase scene wears you out then the movie just ends - disappointing. I know they want to build an on going series but come on let us feel we saw a a biginning middle and end of at least a part of the story. Worth seeing but not as riviting as the original Jason Bourne movies.

    The Bourne Legacy

    by

Good movie to see, I liked the Bourne series. I enjoy visual entertainment it is a break from reality. To much emphasis is placed on actors, plots, style you either like it or not. Its only a movie, if you want to be critical take up a real life cause and do something about it.

    Utter Disappointment

    by astew04

I thought this was the most depressing continuation of the Bourne trilogy. The action scene...wait...what action scene?? I wasn't impressed by the plot and it honestly felt like it was a separate movie in and of itself. The other Bourne movies were actual sequals, but this movie didn't flow with the others. No wonder why Matt Damon didn't return. Sure, they say it was because of the dinero, but it was probably because he saw this weak script and decided to pass.

    Good Action

I liked the story and how they interwove it with Jason Bourne's story line. It wasn't Jeremy Renner trying to replace Matt Damon. The action scenes were good but I think it was a little long and could have been edited in some parts. If you are a fan of Jeremy Renner and the Bourne Series then you should definitely see this.

    Disappointing

I wanted to like this movie, as a fan of the first two captivating Bourne episodes. The earlier films offered mystery, ambiguity, ingenuity, intrigue, plots twists, and suspense. Yes, Bourne Legacy has great production values, a powerful, effective cast of actors, and admittedly is full of edge-of-the-seat action. But after an opening sequence that draws you in, it boils down to a run-of-the-mill action movie. In short, great production, great acting, but mediocre plot and difficult-to-believe stunts. I've watched Bourne Identity & Bourne Supremacy many times and they are still intriguing and mysterious every time. I was hoping for more of the same here, but didn't get it. Save your money, crank up your DVD or video streaming on your home HDTV wide screen, & watch the earlier Matt Damon films again. It'd be a better use of 2 hours. Hope they get it right next time for Jeremy Renner and this fine cast of actors. Really, I do.

    ACTION!!!!

This movie kept you on the edge of your seat throughout the whole thing. It was AWESOME. The acting was superb. My husband and I both enjoyed this movie. I will be buying this one to go into my collection of Bourne movies. I do think that it was better then the Matt Damion Bourne movies too....

    Good, not great.

The movie was good and entertaining, just not great. It wasn't as exciting as the other Bourne movies. I liked how the movie went into how these guys are the way they are. I would love to see Damn and Renner together in the next one.

Doesn't live up to earlier Bourne

    by

We were entertained, but it just didn't feel like the same caliber movie as the original Bourne trilogy. They took a while to get to the heart of the storyline and the end was a little abrupt and cheesy.

    Not the same

I was extremely excited that Bourne movie franchise was continuing but I was very disappointed in this installment. First of all I love Jason Bourne, Erin Cross (I think that's his name) isn't the same but does an okay job getting me to like him and root for him. The movie has a slow beginning (too much info) and the fight scenes are basically the TV previews. But what really kills me is the ending. I'm sure the director wanted to keep me on the edge of my seat but I was just let down. Even though my review is a little lackluster (which is my intent) I will probably see the next movie just because I'm a loyalist. My final recommendation would be to wait for this movie to go to the $1 movie or on demand.

Bourne doesn't live here any more

    by scoan

This plotless, pointless movie has nothing of Jason Bourne or Robert Ludlum's legacy in it anywhere. What a waste of talented actors Jeremy Renner and Rachel Weisz. The movie makers managed to make a motorcycle chase into a drawn-out and annoying stretch of noise. I hope this is the end of the franchise.

    The UN-BOURNE MOVIE

I always enjoyed The Bourne Movies in the pass, but "The Bourne Legacy (should have been called "The Boring Legacy") obviously was just hopping for fans, like me, to run out and see it the first weekend and then we can all tell our friends what a worthless movie this really is. Hard to keep up with the choppy plot and scenes that don't come together. A patch work of cheap movie making and a total waste of time. You should pass on this worthless sequel as it does not compare to the original ones....

Great Thrills and Stunts with Great Characters

    by cina-ma

This movie is fast paced and exciting. You are wowed over and over again by the action . However, I like this action film because the characters really draw you in and the human (even enhanced human) stories carry the movie! Actors, cinamatography, direction are all great. Go!

    The Bourne Legacy

After all the hype there was just a tad bit of a let down. Don't get wrong, it's a great movie, awesome action sequences, it moves right along and you're not left wondering why you came. Jeremy Renner does a fantastic job as a secret assassin. It was just with all the hype put out there I kind of really expected it to be way over the top, instead of just being as good as it is. I highly recommend it as even the wife liked it.
