Worst Bourne movie in the series
by
Highly disappointed in this one! Had very high hopes, since my wife and I both LOVED the first three in the series. This one was nothing like the others, since it failed to grab my attention. Jason Bourne's character and motivation was far better than Aaron Cross! The audience is never given a chance to sympathize, empathize or connect with his motivations. The usual intrigue and humor was missing, as I was asked to connect with a character whose only pursuit was to find the chemicals that enhanced him. How can an audience connect with that? Too many vague references to super-intelligent genetic theory that nobody understood or cared about. Too many totally unnecessary, far-fetched and ridiculous stunts. Horrible performances from supporting actors Edward Norton, Scott Glenn and Stacy Keach. Quite simply I found myself constantly checking my watch, hoping it would hurry up and reach the end. (That's NEVER a GOOD THING coming from an action-movie junkie, such as myself)
