    More of the same

I thought the casting was well done and enjoyed the characters, but there was nothing new in the story over the prior Bourne movies - same formula. A good formula, but already well done. Better to wait until DVD.

    Bourne Legacy

Bourne Legacy very dramatic, keeps you on the edge of your seat; just like the previous ones.
Several action scenes were blurred because it was so fast the camera couldn't focus. Would see it again.

    Enjoyed the movie.

I enjoyed the movie and if you are familiar with the previous Bourne movies or l like have read the books you should it too. It does start slow but then really takes off with lots of action. Go and enjoy it.

    GREAT!

Just the scene at the LAB is already worth the ticket price... plus the action scene at the house. This movie was slow at first but it was building up to a high energy action. Renner's character is impressive, he is tough. This movie is better than Mission Impossible and better than the other Bourne movies (so happy the camera wasn't jiggling all throughout like the rest of the bourne movies). Trust me, this MOVIE is WORTH it!!!

    Bourne Legacy

This movie was great. It has alot of action all through the movie. However, the ending has a little to be desired. It seem to suggest that there will be another Bourne Movie in which Arron Cross meets Jason Bourne and together they do the bad CIA in for good. All in all, it was great!

    Bourne Lives!

Fourth in the line of Bourne Legacy films. This film brings us new actors and the old ones who didn't want to do the film in the way of film clips from the previous movies. Jeremy Renner is the new and improved model. He takes his little blue and green pills that let he be a major bad ass. The blue pill & green pill combo he takes daily gives him abnormal strength, agility, intelligence, and pain resistance. Setup seems a little long before the main actions start, but it lays out what is happening and why. The outback shots in winter of the mountains make you fill like you are there. He is teamed with Rachel Weisz, and the match works well. The basic plot is the government types who need to eliminate him to cover up their misdeeds and secrets so they decide to "burn the program to the ground". The movie is 135 minutes, and seems longer than it needs to be. There are three major action sequences (one in Alaska, East Coast of the US and Manila). Great re-start, except number 6.

Slow Buildup to an anticlimax, with limited intrigue (okay for an action flick, poor for Bourne)

[mild spoilers] From the beginning , both the viewer and the main character know exactly what's going on, and that's precisely the problem. There's no amnesia induced mystery; agent realizes that he's being hunted and is low on performance enhancing pills, goes to see scientist that he remembers from his checkups to get his fix, she gives a surprisingly plausible explanation of the agent's enhanced abilities (one of the high points of the movie), and they travel to manila to remove his dependency on the meds. The "chase scene" in Manila was sorely disappointing. I daresay the chase scenes in both Fast 5 and 21 Jump Street were more exciting, much less previous Bourne movies. The movie ends with the agent and his doctor adrift, with no clear direction, he knows how he was made, who made him, and has no need to contact them. The movie felt like an extended prologue to the next installment, which hopefully will include the return of the much more interesting Jason Bourne.

    The Bourne Legacy

i liked it. it wasnt as good as the others. It also felt very long but Jeremy Renner is cute enough to make up for it. I still want to know why the wolves were hunting him.

    Bourne A Legend

What a great follow up movie ... super action, great story even if you have not seen the previous flicks. I am a Robert L. fan and after reading some dull witted reviews almost passed on this one. Big Mistake. Better of all the previous efforts! Renner makes a believable science experiment and Weitz is way good as a scientist doing science. Ed Norton is the real deal playing the persistent government agency spark-plug! The story is fully developed with excellent past history framing. Bourne Legacy never has a dull moment from the opening til the beautiful finale. Every single actor (thanks to Chenoweth)is a handpicked gem. Enjoy knowing the cast is first flight and the storyline is about as close to reality as it gets ... Take the Red Pill.

    I could have waited

The film was decent because it tied into the last bourne movie but, that was it. Acting, cinematography, writing, etc. seemed as though it lacked something. I was kind of anxious to get out of the theatre instead of wondering what was going to happen next. I could have waited for this movie to come to Netflix and been satisfied watching it on my couch. Not too impressed.

    Bourne Legacy

My husband thought it was a good movie but not quiet as good as the last one. We were on the edge of our seats and sometimes laughed and sometime almost cried. I would recommend it.

    Not the same

I was extremely excited that Bourne movie franchise was continuing but I was very disappointed in this installment. First of all I love Jason Bourne, Erin Cross (I think that's his name) isn't the same but does an okay job getting me to like him and root for him. The movie has a slow beginning (too much info) and the fight scenes are basically the TV previews. But what really kills me is the ending. I'm sure the director wanted to keep me on the edge of my seat but I was just let down. Even though my review is a little lackluster (which is my intent) I will probably see the next movie just because I'm a loyalist. My final recommendation would be to wait for this movie to go to the $1 movie or on demand.

    The Bourne Legacy

    by

The Bourne Legacy was just as great as the other Bourne movies, the action was just as spectuclar, and the directing was great too. Jeremy Renner is definetly a suitable replacement for Matt Damon, he was perfect and just as sexy. Jeremy Rennner has a great body. The rest of the cast was just perfect in their roles and I liked the plot. This movie is for action fans and movie fans in general, but don't take my word for it, see it for yourselves.

    Good, but not great!

    by

This was a good movie, but it was very different from the rest. The first three were so good, I'm sure anything without Matt Damon would be somewhat disappointing... Aside from it not being Matt Damon, the entire feel of the movie was different; not bad, but different. As long as you don't try to compare it to the other movies and just enjoy it for what it is, then you'll really like this movie!

    Build up then..

Action was awesome. The story was ok as it build up the characters. It got you all psyched for more as they, Aaron (and the Dr.) was being chased by Larx, then all of the sudden it felt that the movie seemed to have ubruptly ended. However, was the ending a hint for another?
