Here Comes The Boom

Awesome movie, one of the best movies I have seen all year! Made me laugh, and cry. My 5yr. old asked me after the movies was over can we come back and see it again. Great movies for the whole family to see!

Great Combination

This movie really surpassed our expectations and surprised us. Clean, humorous and a great message of how one person when they really become dedicated to a cause, can bring tremendous change.
Great job....bring your older children. The fighting scenes are too much for young kids. Loved it.

Excellent Family/Kids Movie - Funny Comedy

Kevin James is funny as always. Great story line and clean. Like the life lessons of demonstrating passion in your work. If you are not passionate follow your dreams. All the actors were very good in their roles. My 12 year old son loved it.

Great Movie

Must go for sure. Me and my wife didn?t want to see it , but there was nothing to watch so we took a chance and it was worth it. Great funny movie, with nice action. (Critics have no life)

Kevin James is Hair-larious!

We also liked the wrestler, Niko who trained Scott Boss (James). He also carried the movie! It was a funny movie that I shared with my 11-year old grandson. We both laughed hard throughout the movie.

Kevin James is in it? I'm in.

While Kevin James probably has a terrible track record with critics, his movies are pure embodiments of enjoyment. "Here Comes the Boom" starts a tad slow and has you, or it did me, shedding some water weight through your tear ducts at the end. This was one of the more uplifting films that really makes you feel good about things that one person can do. It's not especially well-made, but the characters are the important part and they nail it. James is his usual hilarious self, Henry Winkler continues his revival since being reawakened in "Arrested Development," and Salma Hayek, well, aside from being absolutely beautiful, she puts in a good performance as a spiritually-revived school nurse. There are others that fill in the cracks as well as cameos that MMA enthusiasts will enjoy. At the end of the movie I felt like I was watching Rocky with how invested I was in the fight and I loved it. You will leave this movie glad to have spent the money.

GO GO GO

This I feel is a good mixture of Comedy and real life in the sense that Kevin does a good job putting a humerous spin on some o the most dire straights that people can face. With the aide of his co-actors they all do a wonderfull job with the movie and I feel the MMA fighters that partook in this movie should be give a good round of applause too for actually aiding and partaking in this moving all together. Watching the clips, they seemed to at least be enjoying themselves too.

I recommend this movie to everybody it is a good 4 star movie.

I'm a hard movie critic. I have seen a vast amount of comedies over a few years. This movie doesn't come close to the amount of funny as Kevin James' previous movies. I now pronounce you Chuck and Larry, Mall Cop. It has it's funny moments, I like a movie to have me laughing from start to finish.

Not Just an MMA Movie

Considering this was Happy Madison I wasn't expecting much. However, I was very entertained. It was as much an underdog/sacrifice story as it was a commentary on modern education. Well done by Kevin James.

Should be PG-13

Liked this movie but there's a lot of violence. I'm not the kind of guy who gets overly worked up about that kind of thing, but the violence (all of which is non-gun violence, if that matters either way) is I think kind of intense. Put another way, if your kids are not regular viewers of UFC, this may not be the movie to take them to.

HERE COMES THE BOOM

I liked this movie from start to finish. It has many good and funny one liners. It was very entertaining and Kevin James did a great job of acting as a caring school teacher. That's about all I can say, after all it is what it is. A fun little comedic film.

Hilarious from beginning to end

My kids, 12 and 14 year olds, my husband and I all laughed from beginning to end. Hadn't laughed so much at the movies in a long time! Loved it! 8 thumbs up from this family :)

I loved this movie! I went by myself to see it because my poopie family wouldn't go. Their loss. I am a huge Kevin James fan. His agility in some of the stunts he does always amazes me for a bigger guy. He looks so good with his new slimmer self. It looked to me that he had to learn a few skills for this film. I will admit I had to look away during some of the fighting scenes. Loved the messages most of all. Please go see this movie, even if you have to go solo!

Surprisingly Good

This has to be the best Keven James movie yet! Hilarious, yet also had a really good message. There were quite a few laugh out loud moments and the fight scenes were very well done. I'm recommending this one to all my friends and to any one who just wants to go see an enjoyable movie.

Great Family Movie

I went with my 15 yr old daughter. We both loved the movie, probably for different reasons. It was great to share a movie with no swearing, sex, or much violence. Nothing got blown up! A real feel good movie, teaching an important point: don't give up, inspire someone, do things for the right reasons. Go see it with your teen! (or drop them off.)
