BOOM! Kevin James get a Knockout

Not been a Kevin James fan. He's funny, but its always the same character. And it starts that way here. But in 'Here Comes the Boon', he actually gets to grow as a character. He becomes someone, who while still flawed, grows to be a person to admire.

The MMA scenes came across as realistic and spontaneous. I'm sure they rehearsed them to death and Mr. James was pretty much never getting hit as hard as it looked, but I was totally engrossed.

The fighting characters made laugh and care. The school folks and the students were great. Good to see Henry Winkler back. A smaller role, but he pulled it off wonderfully.

Surprise movie of the year for me and I will be buying this one for the library.

I loved this movie! I went by myself to see it because my poopie family wouldn't go. Their loss. I am a huge Kevin James fan. His agility in some of the stunts he does always amazes me for a bigger guy. He looks so good with his new slimmer self. It looked to me that he had to learn a few skills for this film. I will admit I had to look away during some of the fighting scenes. Loved the messages most of all. Please go see this movie, even if you have to go solo!

Great Movie

Must go for sure. Me and my wife didn?t want to see it , but there was nothing to watch so we took a chance and it was worth it. Great funny movie, with nice action. (Critics have no life)

good message - clean - not as funny as I thought

The movie is has a good message but lacks in the funny category. Definitely a movie to take the boys (kids) too. The ladies really didn't enjoy the movie too much but I'd wait until the DVD and save your money. We laughed maybe 4 times throughout the film.

Here comes a Great Story

It was wonderful to see Kevin James as a mature actor, in this story. His low key approach in the movie brought a cinematic reality to the story. I thought the story could have kicked Winkler around more as the aging (pick a type) character. He never ceases to be annoying. And James' character did a great job not to become the bully he needed to be to overcome Winkler and accomplish his goal. To nail the Salma Hyak Character. The kids loved the movie from beginning to end. We cheered, laughed, applauded, through out the film. And something very rare happened. We felt GREAT after seeing it. Usually after the cartoon movies or super hero movies I check the kids reaction to what they just watched. They usually have no interest in talking about what they just saw. But this movie had them talking and laughing, all the way home. They especially like the throw up scene. This really is an all time Great film.

Surprisingly Good

This has to be the best Keven James movie yet! Hilarious, yet also had a really good message. There were quite a few laugh out loud moments and the fight scenes were very well done. I'm recommending this one to all my friends and to any one who just wants to go see an enjoyable movie.

Wasn't sure I wanted to see this movie but I love Kevin James so I went. Am really glad as it was a great movie! Kevin James is so good at physical comedy and there was a lot of that in this movie. Plus, it had a really good story line. I laughed so much. He is such a good actor. It did not have terrible language like a lot of comedies today so I think kids would like it too. Go see it!

A really great movie! I would rate this an awesome movie and a must see for families!! Funny, brings back your faith in our system. He inspires the kids and teachers about whats important to fight for and not to just go from day to day. What you do in life matters. Make each day count!

Kevin James at his best

classic Adam Sandler movie. woth every penny although i dont know about it being PG for some MMA violence. i think that this is one of my favorite Kevin James movies of all and i didnt think it could get better after Zookepper. this movie was so funny and thier was no references to anything inopropriate. so overall a good movie.

This is a fantastic surprise!

I hadn't heard a lot about this movie which is too bad because parents are always looking for a clean, fun movie....this one has something for everyone! My 17 year old even enjoyed this one. I thought this movie had an uplifting story that could appeal and inspire everyone, it sends a message that we all need a little more of these days: when you see someone or a community that needs help....step in and do whatever you can to make things better!

I took out my mother-in-law to see this movie for her birthday. We both enjoyed it and are still talking about it. Thanks Kevin for making such an enjoyable, laughable,and passionate movie.This movie made my mother-in-law's birthday, she is a huge fan. Thanks again.

Great for kids!

Took my 7 year old daughter, she was able to follow it and really get into the story! The "adult" themes were really downplayed and there were none of the usuall inuendos that are all to common in kid movies these days.

Gave it a Go instead of Must Go because I am an action/sci-fy guy and this would not have been my first choice, but it was very entertaining and I am glad I saw it.

I'm a hard movie critic. I have seen a vast amount of comedies over a few years. This movie doesn't come close to the amount of funny as Kevin James' previous movies. I now pronounce you Chuck and Larry, Mall Cop. It has it's funny moments, I like a movie to have me laughing from start to finish.

This movie was awesome! It really was fun to watch with the whole family. If you are not a fan of blood, be wary. But everything else was fun and funny and quite enjoyable!

Good All-Around Show
